Official Hanseatic Decree of separation from the Kaiserreich

The Hanseatic League is sad to announce the closing of embassies with the KAISERREICH, as well as cutting diplomatic ties. We see the KR Government's attempts to turn the League into a protectorate as a violation of our independence, culture, politics, and rights. The League will continue on its own path to glory without KR, and wishes the KR and its citizens the best of luck for the future. With the GDACU-KAISERREICH Treaty being null and void, the League is well in its rights to declare that she determines a new future without continued influence and pressure from KR Government officials to bring use into the Empires sphere of influence. Hanseatic officials decided this to be the last and best option for the continued prosperity of the League after two days of negotiations that lead to the KR going back to its original offer of the League being a protectorate, and declaring further negotiations are closed. As we part I hope future relations can be repaired and the KR Government will accept Hanseatic terms to guarantee our independence and cease all attempts to turn us into a protectorate.

-Mehmed VII, Minister of Culture and Relations and Feldmarschall of the Hanseatic League
