Repeal of the Amendment to the Political Party Reorganization Act
The Region That Has No Big Banks,
Recognizing the significance of a judiciary free from political interference,
Acknowledging that party affiliation may influence the decisions of court,
Hereby repeals the Amendment to the Political Party Reorganization Act, specifically "Should the party leader assume a judicial office, the office of the prime minister, or the office of the speaker of parliament, they are to relinquish their duties as party leader to the designated chief advisor."
Further amends the Political Party Reorganization Act, inserting a new line at the end of Article I - Purpose, which reads "In order to assure impartiality in our judicial system, no Justice of the Regional Court may be affiliated with a political party or hold any position of leadership in a political party."
Current Judges that hold Party Positions must either leave or dissolve their political party, or resign from their judicial office.
