Australian Luxembourg (Luxembourgish: Australian Lëtzebuerg, officially the The Grand Commonwealth Duchy Of Australian Luxembourg (Luxembourgish: De Grouss Commonwealth Herzogtum vun Australian Lëtzebuerg), is a island country in Europe . It comprises the largest island in Northern Europe and the around 30 small islets surrounding it. It is located north of the UK and Ireland and east of Greenland. The capital is Canaburg City located around the center of the country.

Australian Luxembourg was inhabited by the aborigines, a unique people native to the island. Hons Heinrich was the first European to see the islands, making his first landfall on the island in November 19th, 1452 when he landed in what is present day Sydney sur Alzette. After meeting the natives like always the Europeans caused many diseases to infect and kill many of the natives.

Australian Luxembourg became a part of the The Holy Roman Empire in 1453, when the Holy Roman King sent more settlers to the island. The island, despite being a colony, did not participate in the slave trade, due to mountainous terrain of the island. In 1788 the British gained the island after buying it from the Holy Roman king. During British rule it was changed into a Grand Duchy, but was barely utilized due to the rough terrain.

The country gained complete independence on the 19th of June, 1865, after the Napoleonic Wars with the help of the United States it had a revolution for independence where the British barely put up a fight and only after 3 months the British surrendered and gave up ownership of the island.
