Yeah, currently looks like light overnight showers fade around sunrise, with an afternoon break before rain returns in the evening. A well timed break, perhaps.
It was nice enough for a drive with the top down a couple days ago. I was imagining eclipse chasing with the top down. I might just have to put the top down, and lay the seat back in the car to relax and enjoy the view. Clouds willing.

Personally, I learned the guitar part for "Eclipse" by Pink Floyd yesterday. Never tried to learn it before, it's such a short piece. A two minute song for me to play during a 2 minute 41 second eclipse.

The shirt has already created a Westwind story.
I went out in my Pink Floyd shirt and besides compliments, the most emphatic comment was "people will pay a lot of money for that shirt!" Then it got interesting. One asked to shake my hand because he never had the opportunity to see them play live. I had a small crowd gather. Fascinating.
I told Westwind stories to a live impromptu audience. "Yes, there was the bed that 'flew' across the stadium. And a WWII plane. Explosions? Yes. And the anatomically correct pigs. Yes, my guitar does match my car. Yes, I released four albums in the 80's. Where can you get them? Only at the Library of Congress. Maybe."
*pause*
No one asks where they can find my albums. It's a rare occasion. Like an Eclipse. However, next year is the 40th Anniversary of my first album and I admit I've been playing with new cover art, which I'm pleased with.
Also there was a 17 year old who was learning to play guitar, wearing a Yes 35th Anniversary t-shirt. Good taste. Prog Rock lives on another generation.
