The Kingdom of Itza is a massive, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its vat-grown people, compulsory military service, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate, cynical population of 1.476 billion Itzans are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, socially-minded government prioritizes Education, with Healthcare, Industry, and Administration also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Itzal. The average income tax rate is 67.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Itzan economy, worth 149 trillion quetzals a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is fairly diversified, is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Retail, and Furniture Restoration. Average income is an impressive 101,225 quetzals, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Military spending is on the increase, jollity-related fatalities are on the increase, humble workers tempt fate for a taste of airline caviar, and kids' party bags often contain candy and e-cigarettes. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Itza's national animal is the quetzal, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Itza is ranked 19,498th in the world and 40th in Eurth for Most Cultured, scoring 93 on the Snufflebottom-Wiggendum Pentatonic Scale.
