The Kingdom of Karrithia is a huge, orderly nation, renowned for its frequent executions, ubiquitous missile silos, and punitive income tax rates. The cynical, devout population of 586 million Karrithians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Karnith. The average income tax rate is 58.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The Karrithian economy, worth 45.0 trillion lire a year, is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Basket Weaving, and Trout Farming. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 76,739 lire, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.5 times as much as the poorest.

Politicians are often seen with soldiers pointing guns at their heads, a massive campaign is underway to ensure the race of Karrithia remains pure, children are sent to either religious or secular schools, and nudity is frowned upon. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Karrithia's national animal is the Phoenix, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Karrithia is ranked 25,396th in the world and 37th in Astoria for Highest Food Quality, scoring 94.27 on the Meeshlin-Starr Index.
