The Kingdom of New-Lorule is a huge, orderly nation, notable for its lack of airports, ubiquitous missile silos, and enslaved workforce. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 370 million New-Loruleans are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The relatively small, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, with Administration, Spirituality, and Education also on the agenda, while International Aid receives no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Lorule Castle. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 19.3%.

The strong New-Lorulean economy, worth 32.5 trillion Rupees a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Gambling. Black market activity is frequent. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 87,801 Rupees, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 375,630 per year while the poor average 13,159, a ratio of 28.5 to 1.

Wars of expansion are described as "peacekeeping operations", builders spend more time negotiating "tasteful architecture" than on actual construction, plain-clothes police officers follow Dàguó tourists everywhere they go, and residents of new housing subdivisions complain about the total absence of supermarkets and restaurants. Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. New-Lorule's national animal is the Slarock, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

New-Lorule is ranked 271,770th in the world and 6th in Hyrule for Highest Foreign Aid Spending, scoring -10 on the Clooney Contribution Index.
