Qaz Ruling Parties - 21st Century

Legislation was passed in 2000 which established regular, compulsory General Elections once every 5 years. The Prime Minister may still call elections any time but these are now called Snap General Elections, regular General Elections are run every 5 years and a single Prime Minister may run for a maximum of two full terms as Prime Minister.

13. 1 June 2000, first compulsory General Election held. Organised Evolution Party won 234 seats out of 300 under Donovan Peeler. 2000. Leader: Donovan Peeler, 39 years - 40 years, died in 2000 aged 40 years. The first Snap General Election was called immediately by the President.
