Let it be known here and now before gods and men that I will only return the endorsement of those nations that demonstrate that there is some sort of historical precedent for their name and/or attributes (i.e. Capital city, religion, currency, national animal, etc.) I will not tolerate nations founded in a spirit of anti-intellectualism and absurdity for absurdity's sake (e.g. with names like flip-florg-flim-flam-land), and they have no reason to expect an endorsement or return endorsement from me. I have thought long and hard about my main nation and the ancillary nations that I have founded. Each one was founded in a spirit of solemnity and each one makes allusions to history, philosophy and languages. The least someone can do is put a bit of thought into designing their nations. An overabundance of anti-intellectual and absurdly named and designed nations diminishes the overall quality of NationStates as a whole. This is a trend in which I will not take part.
