The Valley of Peace embraces a pacifist and environmentally conscious ethos, fostering a harmonious community that welcomes nations of diverse political and economic ideologies. We maintain a neutral stance when it comes to raiding and defending activities, prioritizing peaceful interactions among our members. We invite nations from all walks of life to join us, advocating for democratic principles and a slight emphasis on meritocracy in our community leadership.

As a region committed to open dialogue and collaboration, we approach the establishment of relations with other regions in a flexible manner. We provide a platform for discussing the legitimacy of initiating relations with these regions, ensuring transparency and mutual understanding.

If you represent your region as an official representative, we kindly request that you familiarize yourself with the following expectations, serving as general guidelines for initiating relations with our region. While we prioritize embassy-type relations, we also find consulates to be acceptable alternatives.

By adhering to these mild expectations, we can foster fruitful and respectful exchanges between our communities. We value the principles of diplomacy, cooperation, and mutual respect as we strive to create a global network of interconnected regions. Together, we can build bridges and promote understanding among nations in the pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous world.

• The region has at least 50 nations.

• At least 10% of your current regional population consists of World Assembly Members.

• Your region shall not be tagged fascist and you shall not possess any fascist history or are currently perceived as fascist regardless, by the wider NationStates community.

• Your region shall not be associated with out-of-character conflicts that have been universally condemned by the wider NationStates community.

• Your region is not a puppet-based region with an excess number of puppets existent in the region.

• Your region is not to be seen as an embassy or consulate collector with an excessive amount of embassies.

Please note that while the above are expectations, we encourage you to see them as guidelines as to us in consideration of your region and the mere presence in the actual initiation of relations with the above not necessarily stipulating whether we shall accept your region’s bid or not.

With that said, if you’d like to initiate relations with the Valley of Peace, please do contact the Founder, Oogway on why you think we should start relations with your region and we shall then, following internal discussion by the Grand Council of which, if successful, proceed to initiate a binding referendum on the matter to all community members of the Valley of Peace and the result of said referendum shall ultimately decide whether our region shall begin a relationship with your region.
