Her Majesty, Malphe II has abdicated the Osrian throne. Hasal-Pharaoh Hazel-Malphe served Osiris as Her longest reigning pharaoh and has cemented herself in Osiris history as one of the greats. His Royal Majesty, Arkadia Universalis, formally the Khava'dath of the Sands, assumes the throne to bring about another prosperous era for the region. You have all our blessings, Ark! Hail the Pharaoh, long may he reign!

• Cretanja was appointed and confirmed by the Council of Scribes as a Guardian of the Osiris Fraternal Order!. I am beyond honoured to be a Guardian of a region and community I love so much. As always, it's my hope that I bring respect to our community and pharaoh in serving in this office!

• Valerievna has been appointed and will soon be confirmed by the Council of Scribes as a Guardian of the Osiris Fraternal Order!. Hasal-Pharaoh Salem has proven time-and-time-again to be a loyal and dedicated member of Osirs; most highly deserved.

• Notanam was appointed as Sub-Vizier of Community Affairs. Nota has been doing Community Affairs work for as long as I can remember them being a citizen. Making them Sub-Vizier was a no-brainer.

• Malphe II has been appointed as Vizier of Foreign Affairs. This appointment makes perfect sense considering Hazel-Malphe's resume of past office holdings and overall NS experience; another no-brainer.

Hi all! This past week (August 17th-20th, 2023) we had an amazing collaborative pool party event between TCB ( The Communist Bloc ) and Osiris.

The event was hosted by Hasal-Pharaoh Hazel ( Malphe II ) from Osiris and First Minister Lowe ( UFROE ) from TCB and had a whole bunch of great events. There were several game nights, drawing activities, a whole 2 days of puzzles, a super-secret scavenger hunt, a wordsearch, and even a fun movie night to close the event off! The event was a blast and there was a great turnout from both regions with plenty of wonderful people helping to coordinate the different activities.

Thanks to everyone who joined us as well as everyone who took the time to help out, here's hoping for another awesome event with TCB again sometime soon!

Former Delegate, Hasal-Pharaoh Hazel-Malphe abdicated the Osiran throne after a long, successful, and highly beneficial reign. She alone claims the title of the longest reigning Pharaoh, by any measurement. On Apr. 27th 2023, she surpassed Hasal-Pharaoh Skies' single-sitting record of 342 days. Not soon after, on May 9th 2023, she surpassed Hasal-Pharaoh Cormac's impressive record for longest collective reign throughout multiple reigns of 355 days. Hasal-Pharaoh Hazel-Malphe is currently the longest reigning Pharaoh of Osiris, collective or otherwise. But, what did she do with all that time on the throne? She did a lot, that's what.

The very first thing Hazel done after ascending the throne was her aesthetic overhaul which included forum cartouches, our regional flag, server custom emojis, the dispatch network, etc. These changes made visiting the off-site forum all the more fun, they helped to provide easy access to regional information, and gave Osiris a fresh and distinct new logo and flag. Anytime leaders implementing regional changes such as these, it can be touchy, and runs the risk of startling folks who've grown used to a certain look of things. However, Hazel made all these changes in a perfectly-timed manner that didn't cause distress on the community's identity and in my opinion laid boldened foundations for an even stronger and prouder community. This alone is a huge feat.

One thing can be said about the Malpharaoh Era : we were social. Hazel overseen multiple interregional events, established many new diplomatic friendships with other regions, and made sure to invest in those that were serious about investing in us. Under Hazel's leadership along with Moshir Addison, the Sekhmet Legion regained it's interregional respect and Sekhmet presence in the field increased tenfold. Legionnaires were rewarded for their contributions in the field with handmade ribbons, made by Hazel herself, further using her graphic-talents to benefit an aspect of Osiran life. As pharaoh, she was hyper aware of her strong-suits and used them strategically in her role as our regional leader, always with Osiris' well-being in mind.

Hazel-Malphe was a pharaoh like no other. And while I could endlessly give personal testimony to how her time in the delegacy aided in a stronger Osiris, I'll end my own thoughts here. Below are testimonies from other Osirans, to showcase how Hazel's time as pharaoh was so strongly appreciated.

Wascoitan
As I’m sure you all know, just recently we said goodbye to Hazel's pharaohship and hello to ark’s pharaohship. This has left me with a lot of thoughts in my head, mostly of reflection. I think it’s fair to say that Hazel's time as pharaoh will go down in Osiran history as one of the greats. As one can expect, one area that I can praise her the most in was her handling of the legion, under her leadership we’ve managed to take the legion from being completely and utterly inactive to being a valued and respected member of raiderdom that both regularly supports our allies in their raiding endeavors and runs raids of our own. While this has obviously only been accomplished via the combined efforts of many people the continued support and effort of our pharaoh has also been vital to our success. For that, I thank her and wish her luck in all their future endeavors. going forward I am excited to continue working with our new pharaoh on growing the legion.

The Holy Principality of Saint Mark
Hazel has had many accomplishments both within Osiris and in foreign affairs, but what I loved was that she wasn't only focused on the big things. She was also always concerned about how the Osi experience was going for each of us individually. She frequently popped into the Priest channel to chat with us, and I saw that she did this all over Osi. I'm glad we're still going to see a lot of you! It was a great reign! Thank you!

Thanks for all you've done, Malphe, for running Osiris, keeping it a welcoming community for all, and most importantly to me, accepting me into your fold. I'll always remember you as one of my first NationStates mentors.

It’s been a pleasure to get to know Malphe over the course of her pharaohship. I joined Osiris in the middle of her reign and have always found it to be a very welcoming region. I have also enjoyed working with her and others to build ties with TLA and TCB, the two other regions I reside in. Thanks for all your efforts Malphe, and best of luck to Ark!

Hazel was one of those people that I never really got to talk with that much so I really did not have a lot of conversations or moments with her. Still, during the very small number of times we did interact, she played along with my hamster persona. My favorite quote from her I took way back when she was not yet Pharaoh but Heir Apparent, “Everything is Ephemeral.”

Luna State

Ingredients:

• Gluten-Free Veg. Crackers

• Unsalted Butter

• Garlic Paste

• Mayonnaise

• Yellow Mustard

• Chili Powder

• Turmeric

Instructions:
Crush 1/2 box of gluten free veg. crackers in a plastic ziploc bag; crush finely as possible. Add 1 tablespoon unsalted butter and microwave for thirty (30) seconds. ( Stir, repeat, stir. ) This should form your base; lay in a dish, microwave one (1) minute, and squish firmly. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 (one half) spoon of garlic paste, mayonnaise, and yellow mustard. Spread mixture thinly over your base. Sprinkle a generous amount of chili powder and turmeric over the top of the base and microwave thirty (30) seconds before serving. Enjoy!
