THE TRILATERAL BUSINESS FORUM
Maintaining a united standard of trade in a divided multiverse since 931 S.E.
DATE WAS LAST COLLATED AS STELLAR ERA 1509 ON 05/06/2024 EARTH TIME

Duties of the TBF:

1. Setting a standard model of taxation and trade for imports and exports between member nations
2. Keeping the Multiversal Calendar and administrating the Steller Era system of dates
3. Administrating the system of Galactic Common Time (GCT) which is a single agreed upon time determined based upon the average number of processing cycles achieved by a series of 1khz processors installed on standardized cargo containers. GCT operates on a 24 hour day and corresponds roughly with Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Terra. GCT is used only for trading, legal contracts, and planning long range galactic travels.

Regulations:
1. Any time something is exported from one member nation to another, both the buyer and seller will pay a tax of 5% that will be distributed evenly between all member nations; This is called the transit tax.
2. Once the buyer and seller have paid their 5% each (10% total) the trade goods may pass through any member nations without incurring normal import/export tariffs or taxes. Nations who already paid their transit tax cannot be taxed again by member nations for moving their goods through their territory.
3. Nations can choose to spend up to half (2.5% of 5%) of their transit tax on building new infrastructure leading to or from other member nations instead of paying the tax as money. They still have to pay 2.5% of the tax if they decide to use infrastructure building to cover the other half.

No because you have been identified as a potential geopolitical risk if you were to inhabit the colony because of our too different ideologies on civil rights. However, you may join the Trilateral Business Forum if you wish!

RP805sere wrote:And that is exactly correct!! The UUOC has technically never been deployed and pretty much is a large Trade project. But The reason I added the scientific thing to the UUOC is so that Unpredictable extremly powerful super weapons can be created. I mean, My laser is from the UUOC, Mark 2 of the Svetch Sun was made with TDL and the destructive power is to destroy a Galaxy. And no, Actually would'nt die instantly, for that to be achieved you would have to destroy a large part of the world, as well as the fact the people swarming in LODAC to join UUOC

You're assuming that members of the Steel Protocols wouldn't destroy the world to defeat countries.

Hey now I just made an agreement with them

13 years had passed since the Mondi's emperor set foot outside the nations border.

13 years of such dark whispers.

13 years of faults and mistrust being spoken into the minds of the youth.

13 years of the war machine being preached into the minds of the future.

2 years since an heir was chosen.
2 years of new studies and a new door being open.
2 years of an unknown future being presented to the empires people.

Words have already begun to spread of Emperor N.O.
N.icholas O.phelia stands at the foot of the throne. The future of Mondavacas resting in his hands.

Who knows what will happen?

well Hello there

Under the guidance of Queen Amélie and the Grand Shepherd, a rural farming incentive is being rolled out. For those that submit a plan a small stipend is given along with a small plot of land to begin their farm. The extra produce will hopefully enrich the citizens diets, and any extra will be sold off on the international market. The incentive is open to any who wish to apply, and will run for a whole year.

Verwis would like to purchase some of the surplus citrus, pome, and berry fruits for import, in exchange for Vers or Wulfs at the current exchange rate.

Sale of surplus is allowed, once a surplus is established. The price will be in Wulfs, at cost plus the export tariff.

Over the past few weeks, Nuvo Terra has been receiving broadcasts of the New Arkonian political debates. The runaway success of the military in the several engagements they have been involved in has led to increasing patriotism and national pride. Due to this, the hardline militant faction called the Freedom Guard has taken a simple majority in the Council of Delegates. Interestingly, the retired Admiral Alan Corvast, who was notable for his involvement and leadership in the naval task force that helped in the Verwisian Civil War, made appearances in a series of public addresses. Using firey and hardline rhetoric to galvanize the usually apathetic voting block of young officers and military personnel to not only vote for the Freedom Guard but also get himself prominence in the party and elected as Elector Premiere. His appointment speech used a lot of rhetoric about "protecting freedom in the glalaxy" and "standing on New Arkonian founding priciples" in much the same as Winston Churchill's "We will fight them on the beaches" broadcast. Indeed a historic speech for the ages! Many diplomats who were not military personnel were replaced overnight. What could this mean for their involvement going forward?

The East Cashinamasian democratists get a private broadcast only for them and their people. It overrides every other TV or public nonemergency radio broadcast in the country. The broadcast goes as follows:

If the device is visual, they see New Elector Premiere sitting in a spartan yet refined office; if not, they just hear what he says. He looks dead into the camera and speaks in a conciliatory and enjoining tone.

"My cousins in freedom, the people of New Arkon have found your commitment to the ideals of liberty and democracy inspiring and a mirror to our own. But what are ideals if you are not willing to stand on your convictions?"

He presses his hands onto the desk in front of him.

"Ideals are like a tree sapling, the core of commitment and the basis for a way of life. But like a tree, ideas must be tended to and allowed to grow. Freedom is a fragile tree when it is not strengthened by conviction. An ideal you are not willing to die for is no ideal at all! While peace and prosperity are admirable goals and hopes for the future, they mean nothing if you are not willing to seize them! The tree of freedom must be watered by the blood of martyrs. To die while fighting for your freedom is a death well-earned!"

His breath steadies, and his face calms as he takes a second to center himself.

"Freedom dies when the fearful and the nieve trade it for safety. It dies when the people let its wood rot and tyrants take control. The sword must guard democracy if it is to be allowed to prosper; otherwise, the dictators of today and tomorrow will choke its roots. We will stand and fight with those who fight for themselves, for it is better to die on your feet fighting for your beliefs than live as a slave on your knees. Fight, and we will fight with you; stand still or vacillate, and you stand alone. Only you can decide the path you take."

The broadcast cuts off and is followed by static before all other pre-recorded programming resumes.

Morally Im Obligated to lash out.
But Logically I wont because technically UUOC and ST could build the largest trading route to mankind. (Which is mainly beneficial to me, Tee Hee!!!)

"Nicholas."

"Your majesty," the younger man was mostly soft spoken. Standing at about six feet tall, he was slightly shorter than Jared, but that didn't deter the younger man's ambitions. A ruthless athlete that had fought for everything he had; it created a double-edged human. Something the emperor had noted when Nicholas was in the heir program. As Jared slightly thought to himself, the heir was passively observing him. A silent understanding had grown between the two.
Jared was the past. Nicholas was the future. And together they met at the present.

"Have you spoken with the director of Trade about the deal with Verwis?" the emperor neatly tucked away a few pieces of paper as he spoke. Letting the rustling of the sheets fill the void of words after he spoke.

The heir would flick open a folder and slip out a few pages placing them gently on the emperor's desk.
"All cargo ships and their crew are accounted for, your majesty. All holding the respectful amount for both of our trade agreements. With a few extra surplus vessels being held in Dolphus until winter." words spoken with clear authority and simple meaning. A future ruler already in the making, he spoke, and people listened. He took a step and the guards snapped to attention. Something Jared never tried to do was put himself above others.
Nicholas was the opposite, he bled and walked his future rulership. Every step he took, citizens and officials could feel the weight of his being striding past. The emperor could already see the heir will have many enemies, but he would also have many close allies. Such is the life of a leader, Jared could only guide the young man along.
