Merry Christmas, especially to those who like me don't have a family to celebrate it with

Christmas is rarely an enjoyable holiday when your life doesn't match the stereotypical familial constellations, so to all those who feel extra stressed or alone during this time of the year just know that you aren't alone

And as usual, since Christmas is not always as shimmering and idyllic as it is portraied in popular media, be sure to take care of yourself, regardless of your circumstances and how you're celebrating it, if at all, and remember there's always help to get

Relatable, certainly haven’t had a stereotypical Christmas for over a decade, albeit not one that is completely alone (yet). Best wishes from little britain.

P.S: if anyone has a dog does anyone have any recommendations for trousers or tracksuit bottoms to wear on muddy walks that doesn’t look like you’re going to go wading in torrential rain? Like vaguely wipeable fabric.

Are map applications being taken in?? It says Closed

Have you considered that the applications might be closed for Christmas??? The map is done by a PERSON who also happens to have a LIFE outside of NationStates! Excuse my grumpy antics but manners and common sense are in short supply on the RMB right now!

Fun fact: Christmas holiday in Dakea is around December 24 to December 26

Same for Aresetia!

Merry Christmas kids

While everyone celebrate the holiday, it is just normal day for me.

I mean it is just a simple day. It just is special for people who rarely go home to be able to use the day to finally do go home to family or loved ones.

I disagree.

No, no. What I mean is, why does everyone get so hyped when I dont find this day any special. I think people are getting excited for something that does not signify anything special. Basically, wasting energy for useless day.

Even though we live different lives, even though the world is being shaped differently year by year, let's be happy today! Let's our eternal joy flourish again. Let's live the best moments of our lives. Because it will not happen again. Let's sing our ballads of love, happiness and everything that brings us nostalgia.

I wish everyone a merry, warm, happy Christmas!

Yeah, Merry Christmas! I’m Catholic so I go to church. If you’re mad at me for being Catholic,
*REDACTED*. But anyway, merry Christmas. What is the reason for the name? Christ-mass
not joking. Oh well, watched A Charlie Brown Christmas and stuff. Only people visiting are my family who live near me. Eating a lot. Visiting a relative. Merry Christmas! I live in Arizona, which means Christmas does not have snow in the southern part.

I see this day as a sign of remembering what life offers us, the people around us, our family. A little break from the reality, watching the snowy weather outdoor, noises of cracking woods. I am not a religious person, or find this related to religious matters at all. I celebrate the new year and so.

We may not be able to be around the people we love, we may not be healthy or wealthy as we stand today. As a person who often forgets the importance of life and time (I hate calendars, clocks and everything that makes me realize that time is passing) , I find holidays and special days somewhat important. Even if I don't decorate for christmas or the New Year. Not everything has to be rationalized. In these days we need to find our inner peace.
