I mean, I think you are confusing me as a Russian citizen, friend. I live dead center in the US. But I'd like to see the balding, bloated bastard try. 🤔

Why do you insult my country?

The Zantali Armed Forces is the combined military of The Filipino guy of Zantalio, which serves to defend and serve Zantalio in times of war, with approximately 1.5 active personnel and 2.5 million reserves.

History:
Zantalio’s first recorded engagement in a battle was when a group of tribes attacked the city of Mount Valshem in 167 BC, which then fell under occupation by the tribes. Soon enough, warriors then fought in the Zantali Wars, lasting from 167 BC to 152 BC, with a Zantali victory. Starting from then on, a military was built from then on, which turned Zantalio into a military dictatorship. In 24 AD, a peasant’s revolt overthrew the dictatorship. At the time, Zantalio was at it’s largest extent, stretching from Crimea to Mongolia. From then on, for around 850 years, a military was non-existent, and other than internal conflict, no warriors fought in any war. But then, in 897 AD, a war happened with a Hun invasion. The military was reinstated, and fought for 12 years, until a Zantali victory in 909 AD. No war was fought again for around another 300 years, and the military was almost non-existent by the time the war came. This time, Islamic warriors attacked from Persia. For a year, from 1247 to 1248, we fought, but we failed this time. For around 200 years combined, we were under Islamic rule, turning us into a partly Islamic state that we somewhat are influenced by today. Then, the Mongols came, then when the Mongols were destroyed, the Islamic rulers set up the government once more. Then, a new military was mustered up in 1419, which liberated us from the Islamic rulers. This was a new era in Zantali warfare, with the use of firearms starting from them. In the 1500’s, Russians tried to invade us, but they failed. In 1605, we started invading Persia, but failed to do it because of what is now modern-day Afghanistan. We also tried invading Xinjiang in 1617, but we went into a draw. No military conflict came until 1748, when Russia invaded us again, this time they succeeded and we became a puppet until 1905, when after a revolution which weakened the Russian state, we were able to escape the oppression. But the Russians tried invading after, which created the third Russo-Zantali War, which we won in 1907. It wasn’t flowers for long, because the Soviets invaded in 1924, turning us into a Russian puppet again. In 1990, when the Soviet Union was collapsing, we reinstated our independence and our monarchy, which finally reinstated our military too. Today, we have fought in small wars and joined the EEA, WAAN, and EDL.
Weapons:
The first weapon found by archaeologists was the Zantali-Valshem Sword, found in 1976 and estimated to be smithed on 189 BC, less than 30 years before the Zantali Tribal Wars. Starting in 1419, we used guns, starting with a model based on an Indian matchlock.

From then on, we used flintlocks like this: a German one traded from Russia and reverse engineered.

Starting from then on, weapons were provided by Russia due to the occupation, and our oldest ones that are still used today were released in 1891. This was relatively unused, since it was only used for internal conflict and not used for external war.

Sometimes weapons were confiscated and used for wars like the Crimean War and the Russo-Japanese War.
After the Soviets came along, they gave us an important asset that Zantalio still uses today: the AK-47.

Then, when the USSR collapsed, we had hundreds of nuclear warheads stockpiled in underground areas. We, as international law stated, gave it to Russia. However, we kept some blueprints of it and are developing nuclear weapons one more time. We also bought F-16s and M-16s from the US too. Nowadays, we have released the I-43 NATO Kawveka gun, the standard gun for Zantalio as effective January 31, 2024.

We have chemicals used in chemical warfare, like sarin gas, and have tested biological warfare, which is usually never used for fear of global pandemic. Missiles have also been tested, with 190 successful launches.

On February 6, 2014, our first nuclear weapon after the fall of the USSR was tested, and 10 other nuclear weapons were being completed at the same time.

With Soviet tanks, that means that we have 300 tanks that we still use today. These tanks are gradually being put out of service due to their low quality and are being replaced with the American M1 Abrams. Adding the 200 M1 Abrams tanks, 59 British Challengers, and 3,000 native RE-1s, 3559 tanks are used.

Boats are not really needed, due to the fact the only sea we border is the Caspian Sea, so we only use patrol boats. We have ships, however, at military bases of our allies, like The AbelLandia, X Country, Waffland, and The Rhine and Danube. This adds up to 80 boats/ships in the navy.

Zantalio’s Air Force has the F-16 fighter jet in its arsenal, along with some Su-57s making it very powerful in the air. These Zantali Planes are modified with more modern features along with more stealth. SR-71s have been modified with modern technology and used for surveillance even though it has been discontinued for more than 30 years!

In space, we have deployed the X2 (times two), a rocket torpedo used to destroy targets from low earth orbit (LEO) to either satellites or military targets, along with lasers that can accurately point at targets both in space and earth (doesn’t always work).

Finally, in the virtual battlefield, we have Unit 32, a cyberwarfare unit that can hack major targets on the web like enemy communications and intel, making it a crucial military unit. And with Unit 32, there is corresponding propaganda bot, known as Yeptzhekya, (ip-check-tya), that can release thousands of posts that can
1) make a separate account using an email that
— is from the same URL
— with random names
2) make a repetitive message spread through every site as possible, even in email spam.

Antimatter has been created and can be used to fight by hitting it with iron atoms and using it to make a ‘nuke’.

Rocket count:
~100,000 rockets
Ammo count:
~10,000,000
Nuke count
around 15
Manpower and Units:
Conscription is put in use, and since males 19 and up (who’s not a single child) have to be in the active military for 18 months, our active military size is 1.5 million personnel. People who are no longer needed to serve in the active military are encouraged to join the reserves, which amounts to 2.5 million troops, or paramilitary, which amount to 5.7 million paramilitary troops.

Whenever we need it, we can call upon every man 19+ to fight.

Kanokla wrote:As a Russian citizen, how would you like to see the end of the conflict? Ideally, a total withdrawal would be the most ideal imo, but it isn't going to happen anytime soon, but in a realistic sense.

How I would like doesn’t sound realistic at all xD and my response would be labeled as flaming

but how I would see it in a realistic way is to sign the truce as soon as possible recognising the lands conquered as new parts of Russia. As much as it sounds bitter-ish, that’s the only realistic way to stop the bloodshed right now. Kremlin won’t withdraw by any means, and now I doubt they would give some lands back like Kherson and such (despite their claims they were ready to, earlier). I think in a realistic scenario we all would have to accept the new borders

The coming “presidential elections” in two weeks won’t change anything imo, but that’d be a partially realistic scenario if the elections were real and the current government lost (and they would definitely lose if it was real)

So idk. I just want this all to end asap, those deaths are unjustified by both sides. I try to avoid this topic irl but it’s hard to do so because I’m still a citizen of an aggressive country with not so legitimate government I didn’t vote for nor don’t support at all, and having an anti-war stance is dangerous on so many levels in a society where only pro-war cringies are protected by law and by armed forces, but it’s hard to be silent

    Wait. You're a russian citizen.

эй, моя подруга Аретия только что заблокировала мои телеграммы, потому что я говорю о протестантской реформации

Sexual assault/rape isn't always done forcefully, but not knowing what it really is. Every school must dedicate a day a year to this and the students must learn the following:

    - What is sexual assault
    - Boundaries
    - Communication with partner
    - Respect, consent, coping with rejection
    - Reading partner's body language
    - Real s3x vs P0rn
    - How it affects ones life
    - How it may affect YOU (as the assaulter)

    - Most teens do not know exactly what sexual assault is
    - Around 30% of men do this at least once in their life either knowing or unknowingly.
    - 1% of rape cases are solved.
    - Most women do not report their cases.
    - 1/3 of women experinces this at least once in their lifetime.
    - Each victim costs society $500 000 on average

We believe this can cut the rape cases at least by 50%.
    - This would save society huge amounts of money
    - Would leave more women safe
    - Less people would go to jail
    - An overall safer and better society.

And police will be using more resources solving each case.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond to such a controversial question.

I have been trying to stay away from reading on the subject to protect my own mental health, so I am not as well versed on the war as I should be. But I do know that there will be some difficult concessions will be neccesary if we are serious about stopping the bloodshed. Crimea is for sure off the table for the time being and definitely the Russian speaking majority territories. It isn't right that warmongering in the 21st century allows a nation to gain territory, and I am personally conflicted on the West's response.

Putin is very obviously behind the scenes funding the far right and enabling destablization in the liberal democracies in the west and I think he wants to see how far he can get away with annexing foreign territory. I have a strong instinct (which I hope is wrong) that he'll do the same tactic in Moldova if he "wins" in Ukraine. I am very conflicted because it is extremely sad seeing hundreds of thousands of casualties, but I also have the opinion that we should go all in and make a stand that warmongering is not acceptable in this century and give Ukraine all the support it needs in equipment and humanitarian aid and make it hurt for them if they wish to continue their expansion. War is evil though. And there are so many young men and women that are losing their chances on having a healthy life because of the will of a minority of old geezers. It is all-around a depressing a bleak topic. And that is an understatement.

In regards to your election concerns, do you really feel like Putin could be voted out by regular Russian citizens if the election was fair? From my understandings from what little I have read, it sounds like most Russians are content with the current status quo as long as their is still food on the table and their personal lives change little.

I obviously don't have an easy answer as well if not describing it as muddy and uninformed, but if there was an easy answer, the international community would have executed the solution immediately. I hope you continue to be safe where you are at.

Hello, some of you may remember me. I came here again to conclude my travels around NationStates, and since I enjoyed my stay here I decided to come back for my trip finale. I’ll stay here for about 7-8 days before returning to my home region.
