It only felt right to make a moon-related question after the most recent solar eclipse! On Earth, because of how the sunlight shines on the moon and the Earth & moon's rotation, we see different "phases" of the moon, a cyclic pattern of how the light shines on the moon making some sections visible! My favorites are probably the full moon and the quarter moons! I just love how much of the moon you can see during it, especially on late-night drives when it's a really warm, vibrant color! Also, the quarter moons are just interesting, but I like all of them! -Laforeia |
