It's a really amazing adaptation of the book written by Erich Maria Remarque in 1929. A genuinely sad and dark tale of German soldiers in WW1.

But Netflix says it’s for 16. And I am 14.

There is... a lot of graphic violence, it's a lot. It's World War 1 and supposed to be gritty. If you wish for a summary of the book and an older film based on the 1929 book on YouTube, there is one by Overly Sarcastic Productions.

Well, it's from one of the best books in the world with an incredible sad story depicting the horrors of the war and the terrific fate of the "glorious generation"

As a German, I would always follow official ratings. But it's your decision, every person can handle such content better or worse.

I would also read the book, because Erich Maria Remarque is a genius

And there are many, many, many translation of it on the internet to find. For example, I have an e-book version of it on my tablet which is in Hungarian.

You can easily find the book as an audio book, a PDF or a e-book on the internet to get from any e-book application you have on phone or tablet.

It's an amazing book that tells the horrifying story of Germany's "Glorious Generation", trauma, loss and horrifying reality of one losing their friends in the trench.

The first scene was brutal but I didn’t scared a lot. But got jumpscared by loud firing.

On This Day in Hungarian History:

April 13, 1849
Lajos Kossuth presents the Hungarian Declaration of Independence to the National Assembly of Hungary in Buda (Budapest).

Having good grades is good, of course, but what was behind it to get it was bad.

Good morning TNP.

I’m leaving Italy tomorrow :(
