Freedom is speech
1: Is NOT a thing on the site
2: Does not mean people wanna listen to your opinion

Socialist Lop wrote:Unfortunately for you there's no such thing as freedom of speech on this site and I'm afraid that if you're going to keep up with your little game you may as well leave the site before the ROs ban you

what game? I just said ONE thing

Solivan Brugmansia wrote:if it doesn't allow it I'm getting Elon musk….. (Joke but I can have an opinion and that is I dislike furries)

Okay. Just don't say it often? Or keep to yourself? Thats what I do :D

Down Scoblic wrote:womp womp, freedom of speech is not a right but an idea of human inteligence. The site Q/A said it himself, its his site so his rules.

1. "Nobody asked" is dumb. You don't need universal permission to post regular stuff.
2. Anti-furry posts on the other hand do need permission. A lot of permission.
3. Freedom of speech is not the same as freedom of thoughts.

never asked for you to listen, you could've simply ignored what I had said

Solivan Brugmansia wrote:what game? I just said ONE thing

That thing you are referring to can get you banned from the region.

are you being serious? that small thing?

Solivan Brugmansia wrote:what game? I just said ONE thing

Keep your thoughts to yourself. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all

Here we go again... -_-
This feels like a cycle...
Mods, get them.

This is the Regional Message Board of one of the oldest and most active regions on the site. One cannot simply "ignore" this. Now as an outsider, I advise this convo be dropped.

"aw, sh*t. here we go again."

The mods can though :)

I would not even care about your opinion, the fact that today people are forcing their ideas on other people believing that they will summit to their ideals. Humanity needs to change, even if it means an 3rd World War

Ah, thanks for the update my friend.

Socialist Lop wrote:Keep your thoughts to yourself. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all

I keep most of it to myself and if you don't like it ignore me altogether, enough said

Solivan Brugmansia wrote:never asked for you to listen, you could've simply ignored what I had said

I don’t care what you ask of me. No one does.

NationStates Moderators wrote:Absolutely not. Freedom of speech as understood by the US Constitution simply says you can't be arrested for claiming the president is a authoritarian jackass, or that Beyonce is a no-talent hack, or that God does not exist. It does not have any sway outside of the US, nor does in within the US mean that you can say whatever without consequence. Private individuals can shun you or eject you from their property; businesses can decide they no longer wish you to represent them and fire you, and private sites with rules against flaming, trolling and harassing can warn, ban, or remove you from their site altogether.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

This right here.

Daily Question #68

What were you doing to pass the time during the most recent NS shutdown? Is there anything new after reflecting on it?

Around April 14th-25th, 2024, a server holding important data caused NS to crash for 9 days. While much of the issue has been resolved, the crash still affects certain parts such as stats and, most notably, cards.

It has led to many thoughts and feelings such as boredom, jokes, and concerns from many NS nations about the status of certain aspects and is often paralleled to the time Nationstates crashed during Christmas time. What were you doing between those dates? Did you even know that NS crashed?

"When it crashed, I was online, I assumed that the crash was going to be only for a short while, my, was I sure wrong, haha! During much of it, I lived my life as usual, did school work, schooling, wordle, and checking in on NS often during the beginning, though it continued onto spring break. I was mainly on Discord, the TNP forums, and Roblox to substitute for the lack of NS.

I was certainly more productive without it that's for sure, and it really did help me realize how addicted I was to NS and that it certainly is possible to go without it. I even hung out with some friends a little more, which was phenomenal!" -Laf

Crying because the site was down.

It's good that you keep most of it to yourself, but it would be better that you keep all your Anti Furry thoughts to yourself
