Initial Claim Size and Rules:

• Your initial claim has a maximum size of 50,000 pixels if you have a nation in The Rejected Realms endorsing the delegate or are part of the Rejected Realms Army. 40,000 pixels if you aren’t.

• Non-contiguous claims are further limited to a maximum of three areas within 2,000 pixels.

• Claims should have names that sound nation-y without being too reminiscent of prominent real life places - e.g. no Germany, Mexico, London etc.

• Claims should be nation shaped, rather than octopus shaped.

• Claims should be sent to Mad Jack Is Rejected via telegram or on discord to stgeorge as an uncropped image showing where you would like your claim to go. Claims made not in this cannot be guaranteed to be accepted with the precise borders that you’ve claimed.

Expansion Claims Size and Rules:

• Your nation has a total maximum size of 70,000 pixels if you have a nation in The Rejected Realms endorsing the delegate or are part of the Rejected Realms Army. 60,000 pixels if you aren’t. No expansion claims can make you larger than this.

• Your expansion claims have a maximum size of 3,500 pixels into unclaimed areas of the map, up to a total maximum size of 10,000 pixels of expansion into unclaimed areas. You MUST complete an RP on the events of the expansion in posts summing to a total number of words that will increase based on the size of your claim.

• Your expansion claims can also be made on claimed areas of the map with the current occupant's consent. The current occupant MUST choose to complete an RP with you in which the events of the expansion are displayed.

General RPing Rules:

• Be Normal: No one here is getting paid for this, and everything you do in RP with another person must be done with their consent. If you feel yourself getting upset or annoyed with how RPing is going, take a break!

• Respect the people you’re RPing with: This isn’t a competitive strategy game, it’s a cooperative storytelling project. This means you shouldn’t godmod or metagame.

• Quantity AND Quality: Single line RP is, 100% of the time, bad. Try to build out your posts by describing your surroundings, going into background detail or mentioning other things going on in the setting. There’s lots of ways you can build out your posts and make your RPing better.

• Make your posts readable: Avoid using too much slang or text/chat speak - and for longer posts, make sure to put them in a spoiler tag. And please, don’t use AI to write your posts.

• If in doubt, ask: Unsure about something? Think you or someone else might be falling foul of the rules? Ask your fellow RPers or members of the RMB RO team.
