April Report, by Bourenmouth Fanclub

The Cherries have finished another month of football! Thankfully, we will not be in the relegation battle going into May, but no European football as expected. We played six fixtures in April, and here is my opinion on each.

Cherries 1, Crystal Palace 0

A fair match by Bournemouth. It wasn't the best match, but in the end, we picked up three points. Many opportunities for a goal, six shots on goal and nine corner kicks. In the end, it took a Kluivert goal in the 79th to separate the two. Unfortunately, we did not see a high scoring affair, but sometimes you take what you can. Overall match rating, 3.7/5.

Cherries 1, Luton Town 2

What a match by both teams! A clean match without any cards. Many chances by both sides to take a lead. In the end, it took a 90th minute goal by the Hatters to defeat them. I would have wished for a win by our boys in Kings Park, but it wasn't that bad. I have to admit, Luton outplayed the Cherries. Credit to Tavernier with his goal in the 52nd minute. Overall match rating, 3.6/5.

Red Devils 2, Cherries 2

The devil came to Bournemouth and left with only one point. Solanke had an early goal to make it 1-0! Once again, Kluivert scored for the Cherries scoring only shortly after a Bruno Fernandes goal. Rest of the game had amazing action, before Bruno had another goal in a controversial pen. Cherries almost got the dub, with many close chances and an almost pen. End of the day saw Bournemouth and the Red Devils draw. A fun match to watch, what I expect from the Cherries. Overall rating, 4.2/5.

Cherries 1, Aston Villa 3

Tough defeat by Bournemouth. It wasn't a pretty match. Started of with a goal by our man Dom Solanke, then Villa tool control. Half time had a 1-1 scoreline, but the stronger team came out. Villa dominated possession and Emi Martinez simply kept the goal scoring to a minimum. The game proved that the Cherries are not fit to play with the best yet. It will take multiple seasons to get to the level. Overall matching rating, 1.9/5.

Cherries 1, Wanderers 0

There is little to say. Plenty of chances, but only 1-0. Disappointed in both sides, but glad of the win. Semenyo would get the winning goal during the 38th minute. Overall a mid gtame, 2.5/5.

Cherries 3, Brighton 0

What a game for the Cherries! Senesi would open up with a header to give the Cherries an 1-0 lead. In the next half, Unal got a goal in his full game debut, making the score 2-0. At the end of the match, Kluivert made his third goal of the month to make it 3-0. This is what the Cherries should be like! An amazing match while at the possession disadvantage. Match rating, 5/5.

Month in Review

3-2-1 in the month of April, what is expected. No major upsets and most fixtures went well. Everything went right for the Cherries. We may not of went 6-0-0, but we had a strong performance in every fixture. Overall month later, 4.3/5. Cherry Player of the Month goes to Kluivert after an amazing month. Honorable mention to Mark Travers for having two clean sheets.

Go Bournemouth and up the Cherries!
