Mockingbirds are terrorising the country

Approximatly 1.6% of all deaths within the Empire are caused by mockingbird attacks. Those attacks were rare in the past and started to happen more often that usual. Scientists are starting to beleave, that the harsher climate of Wintreath is unsettling for the birds. They obviously became very angry and started organising attacks, where they seek out lone travelers and viciously mock them to their death.
We can't discuss any peace treatys with them, as they are birds.
We can't kill them to save ourselfs, as they are very important to the ecosystem.
We can only wait and hope for the attacks to stop.
