Antarctic Cobalt Eagle
Antarctic Cobalt Eagle
The Antarctic Cobalt Eagle (Aquila Kovaltius) is a bird of prey that lives in the far southern hemisphere. Cobalt Eagles have a mixture of grey, white, and black feathers, with some occasionally having dark brown feathers as well. Cobalt Eagles hunt fish primarily and other Antarctic wildlife that can be found. IT has even been reported that Cobalt Eagles attack penguins, targeting the young though only when the Cobalt Eagle is desperate. Otherwise, they ignore penguins entirely. They can fly at a soaring speed of 65 kilometers per hour.
The Antarctic Cobalt Eagle lives on the Continent of Antarctica and in other areas in the southern hemisphere, particularly Patagonia, and the Antarctic islands, though some have been spotted in places like South Africa, Yi Australia, and even the East African Empire. They don't stay away from most urban centers too meaning many Cobalt Eagles have been spotted in cities like Nova Alderaan.
The Antarctic Cobalt Eagle is the national animal of the Antarctic Imperium and is portrayed on the Antarctic Imperial emblem as well as the Antarctic National Football Team.
