[CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED] Candanadian Travel Advisory

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF CANDANADIUM
BUNDESREGIERUNG DES KÖNIGREICHS KANADANADIUM

MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
AUSSENMINISTERIUM

Travel Advisory - Oseanian Edition

This is a federal travel advisory published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Candanadium based on current events and relations between Candanadium and the nations in question. This document is only for reference, and you should always exercise caution when travelling internationally.

The two autonomous regions of Candanadium, Caskhomir and Belkhomir, are also given a rating on this page. Residents of Caskhomir and Belkhomir may refer to their regional governments' travel advisories for information regarding travel to Core Candanadium as well as information published in Belkhomirian Kanadiaans and Caskaans.

All destinations are given a safety rating of 1-5. 1 indicates that Candanadians should exercise normal precautions, 2 indicates that Candanadians should exercise heightened precautions, 3 indicates that Candanadians should exercise a high degree of precautions, 4 indicates that Candanadians should avoid all non-essential travel, and 5 indicates that Candanadians should avoid all travel.

The decision to travel is yours and yours alone, and the Government of Candanadium takes no responsibility for any negative consequences that may arise from your decision to travel, though the Government of Candanadium will always provide consular aid whenever possible to citizens abroad. It is your responsibility to learn about the risks involved with each destination before travelling.

It is also your responsibility to abide by all local laws when abroad. If you are arrested abroad, make sure to present yourself as a Candanadian to the local authorities and request to meet with a Candanadian consular official. Candanadian consular officials cannot arrange for your release, bail, represent you legally, or attempt to influence local court decisions. However, they can and will provide you with a list of local lawyers, translators, as well as contact your family and friends back home with news of your arrest.

If you hold Candanadian citizenship along with other citizenships simultaneously, be advised that although holding multiple citizenships is legal in Candanadium and recognized by the Candanadian government, it may not be recognized by your other countries of citizenship, and as such, certain countries may regard you as only a citizen of their country and block your access to Candanadian consular assistance. It is your duty to familiarize yourself with the citizenship laws of additional countries where you hold citizenship. Additionally, you must always enter Candanadium on your Candanadian passport, unless, for whatever reason, you cannot obtain one, in which case you must contact your nearest Candanadian mission prior to departing for Candanadium.

Candanadians holding diplomatic and/or service passports should refer to the respective government agencies which issued their documents for more precise guidelines to official international travel and when it is appropriate to use a diplomatic or service passport for international travel. As a general rule, your regular (blue) passport should be used for any trips carried out for personal reasons, unless returning to Candanadium or the location of your diplomatic/official posting.

IMPORTANT: If you or a loved one requires urgent consular assistance from the Government of Candanadium abroad, please do not hesitate to contact the Crisis Watch Centre in New Konigstadt, at +11 (400) 716-2648, or email crisis@travel.gov.ka (krise@reise.reg.ka for service in Kanadiaans). Collect calls are accepted where available.

The Union of Akarea

A warm, tropical nation. Official language is Akarean Mandarin, though Oseanian is widely understood. Regional languages such as Bangtangese and Gaanglanglataaran are spoken in Bangtang and Gaanglanglataar respectively, but Akarean Mandarin will be spoken and understood nationwide.

Major cities include the capital city of Fujing, as well as Lao Shaodu, Hyehae, and Khyarslagaar. Candanadian travellers are a common sight and will not normally be subject to any discrimination. Crime rates are generally low, aside from petty crime such as pickpocketing at popular tourist sites.

A valid Candanadian passport is required to enter Akarea. Candanadians travelling for leisure or business purposes staying for less than 90 days will not need to obtain a visa in advance. Lengths of stay may be extended at the discretion of the local immigration authorities. Candanadians intending to visit for longer than 90 days, live, or work in Akarea will need to obtain a visa along with the proper documentation.

Akarea recognizes dual citizenship, and Candanadian-Akarean dual citizens will need to enter Akarea using their Akarean passport. The ability of the Government of Candanadium to provide consular assistance to Candanadian-Akarean dual citizens in Akarea may be limited. If in doubt, present both your Akarean and Candanadian passports to the local authorities and always present yourself as a dual citizen.

Akarea drives on the left side of the road, so travellers from Core Candanadium must ensure that they are well-versed with local traffic etiquette.

The local currency is the Akarean yuan. The local emergency number is 000.

NOTE: Candanadian citizens who live in Hautsing and have a valid passport issued in Hautsing may apply for the Akarean Frequent Traveller Document (FTD) at their local Akarean mission to avoid running out of pages in their passport to be stamped.

Alayka

A mountainous and temperate nation. The official language is Alaykan, but Edofasian and Novmiran may be spoken by some residents. There is a significant Candanadian minority in most major cities, which were the Candanadian settlers in Edofasia fleeing the Edofasian Crisis, which means Kanadiaans and Oseanian may be understood in certain areas, though the local dialect is reportedly hard to understand, and standard versions of Kanadiaans and Oseanian may not be understood perfectly by local residents. The city of Königsgorad is populated primarily by descendants of Kanadiaans and Oseanian settlers in Edofasia, and Kanadiaans and Oseanian will be widely understood there.

Major cities include the capital Alexagorad, Königsgorad, and Vladmor. Relations with Candanadium are decent due to Alayka's participation in the Kaltach Union. Candanadian travellers may experience discrimination or even violence near the Edofasian border. It is not advised for Candanadians to travel alone in rural Alayka or near the Edofasian border.

A valid Candanadian passport with an affixed visa issued by the nearest Alaykan mission is required for Candanadians to travel to Alayka. Contact your nearest Alaykan mission to find out more about the visa application process.

The local currency is the Alaykan ruble, divided into 100 kopeks. The local emergency number is 901.

The primarily Novmiran/Edofasian Lakedan/Lakedon region of Alayka is currently under Edofasian military occupation and has been illegally annexed by Edofasia. The border between Alayka and Edofasia at Lakedan is closed, and Alaykan as well as Kaltach Union forces regularly patrol the border for illegal crossings and Edofasian/insurgent activity. The area is unstable and highly dangerous, and escalations in fighting may occur at any time. Thus, it is advised that Candanadian travellers avoid all travel to Lakedan/Lakedon.

Cannabis is a legal and regulated substance in Alayka, which is available for purchase and recreational consumption to all those older than the age of 18. However, it is illegal for export and penalties may range from fines to jail time. Cannabis is a Class A banned substance in Candanadium and is thus prohibited from import and possession unless for medical purposes, and Candanadian travellers returning from Alayka must ensure that they are not carrying any cannabis, as it is a crime in Candanadium and Alayka to do so.

The Kingdom of Alpenraum

Alpenraum is a nation to the south of Candanadium, famed for its snow-capped peaks. Kanadiaans, Oseanian, and Caskaans are the official languages, with Oseanian spoken in the high north, Caskaans in the midlands, and Kanadiaans in the south. The largest city and capital is Kustenberg, and other major cities include Seewald and Ankton. Candanadian travellers will have no trouble being understood, though the local dialect of Kanadiaans is slightly different.

Alpenraum has a unique "Blue Rose" clearance system. All visitors are assigned a Blue Rose level on entry, usually Blue Rose 1 (BR1). Certain areas of cities or buildings may be off limits to those who do not have sufficient Blue Rose clearance, and trespassing in high-clearance areas is highly forbidden. Public signage will usually indicate if an area is off limits to people without sufficient BR clearance, and it is thus important for travellers to keep their Blue Rose slips which are issued upon entry with them at all times. The most prominent of this is access to the Eternal City, which is limited to BR5 clearance or above. Visitors wishing to visit the Eternal City must fill out an online form in advance to declare their intentions and submit to a background check.

Crime rates in Alpenraum are generally low, but it is still important for visitors to practice caution when travelling in unfamiliar areas. Police presence is generally heavy in urban areas, and it is advised not to photograph police officers or military installations withut prior permission.

A valid Candanadian passport is required to enter Alpenraum. Candanadians travelling for leisure or business purposes staying for less than 90 days will not need to obtain a visa in advance. Lengths of stay may be extended at the discretion of the local immigration authorities. Candanadians intending to visit for longer than 90 days, live, or work in Alpenraum will need to obtain a visa along with the proper documentation.

Alpenraum recognizes dual citizenship, and Candanadian-Alpenraumisch dual citizens will need to enter Alpenraum using their Alpenraumisch passport. The ability of the Government of Candanadium to provide consular assistance to Candanadian-Alpenraumisch dual citizens in Alpenraum may be limited. If in doubt, present both your Alpenraumisch and Candanadian passports to the local authorities and always present yourself as a dual citizen.

The local currency is the api. The local emergency number is 420.

Cannabis is a legal and regulated substance in Alpenraum, which is legal for purchase and consumption to all those older than the age of 18. It is legal for private individuals to carry cannabis out of the country, however, a permit is required to transport large amounts. Though cannabis is legal and legal for export in Alpenraum, it is a Class A banned substance in Candanadium and is thus prohibited from import and possession unless for medical purposes. Candanadian travellers returning from Alpenraum with cannabis for personal consumption must dispose of it before entering the Candanadian border.

Candanadian belkhomir AR, Candanadium

Belkhomir is a mountainous region of Candanadium. Belkhomirian Kanadiaans is the most widely-spoken language, though Oseanian is also understood by most. The largest city and regional capital is Schwannburg. Travellers from Core Candanadium are a regular sight, and petty crime such as pickpocketing
are commonplace in the city centre. Heightened security measures are in place across Belkhomir due to the threat of terrorist attacks from various Belkhomirian independence militias, and the local police force, the Royal Belkhomir Constabulary, works closely with the Royal Belkhomir Regiment to maintain law and order. Armed policemen/soldiers patrolling the streets is a normal sight.

There may be occasional demonstrations near the seat of the Belkhomir regional government. Candanadians, especially female Candanadians, are not advised to walk the streets of Schwannburg alone after dark due to fears of mugging, murder, and rape.

Belkhomir drives on the left side of the road, so travellers from Core Candanadium must ensure that they are well-versed with local traffic etiquette. If you are driving to Belkhomir, be advised that you must have taken out a Belkhomirian car insurance plan valid for the entirety of your stay prior to entry.

Proof of Candanadian citizenship is required for Core Candanadians entering Caskhomir. This could include drivers' licences, health cards, passports, or birth certificates. Permanent Residents of Core Candanadium will need to enter Belkhomir with their national passport and may be subject to different immigration requirements than Core Candanadian citizens. Core Candanadians without permanent residence in Belkhomir may only remain for a maximum of 30 days at a time, and may not be employed without a work pass. Caskhomirians are allowed to remain in Belkhomir indefinitely without a residence permit, but may not work without a work pass.

The local currency is the Belkhomirian ducat, divided into 100 pfennig. The local emergency numbers are 101 for police, 130 for paramedics, and 115 for fire services.

Caskhomir AR, Candanadium

Caskhomir is a warm region of Candanadium, with flatlands in the north and mountains in the south. Caskaans and Oseanian are the most common languages, with the latter being spoken mostly in the cities and the former spoken across the region. A few Kanadiaans communities exist within most major cities, but the language will not be understood by most of the population. Crime rates are high in certain inner city areas, but Caskhomir is a generally safe region. Despite this, it is not recommended for Candanadians to be out and about after dark, due to car hijackings, rapes, and muggings being common nighttime crimes.

Heightened security measures are often in place at most establishments such as hotels and shopping centres, with patrons often subject to random security searches. Armed policemen patrolling the streets is a normal sight. Candanadian travellers are advised to avoid the inner-city slums and not to approach suspicious looking individuals.

Major cities include the regional capital of Golding, Port Cask, and Freigrad. There is a sizable Zapadoslavian minority in Freigrad, mostly Litzisch, which means Kanadiaans will be spoken there to an extent.

Caskhomir drives on the left side of the road, so travellers from Core Candanadium must ensure that they are well-versed with local traffic etiquette before driving. If you are driving to Caskhomir, be advised that you must have taken out a Caskhomirian car insurance plan valid for the entirety of your stay prior to entry.

Proof of Candanadian citizenship is requred for Core Candanadians entering Caskhomir. This could include drivers' licences, health cards, passports, or birth certificates. Permanent Residents of Core Candanadium will need to enter Caskhomir with their national passport and may be subject to different immigration requirements than Core Candanadian citizens. Core Candanadians without permanent residence in Caskhomir may only remain for a maximum of 30 days at a time, and may not be employed without a work pass. Belkhomirians are allowed to remain in Caskhomir indefinitely without a residence permit, but may not work without a work pass.

The local currency is the Caskhomirian rand, divided into 100 cents. The local emergency number is 9999.

Drulluhus

Confedracy (Edofasia)

A temperate nation. Official language is Edofasian, though Oseanian and/or Kanadiaans may be understood by older residents. Major cities include the capital city of Scarlao, Thüle, Tara, and Cold Harbour.

Relations with Candanadium are sour at best due to tensions over Candanadium's colonial history in Edofasia and the Edofasian Crisis of 1969. Candanadian travellers will experience discrimination and sometimes violence. Full diplomatic relations have not been established, and travellers may experience difficulty in receiving consular aid in Edofasia. It is advised that Candanadians avoid all non-essential travel to Edofasia.

A valid Candanadian passport with an affixed visa issued by the nearest Edofasian mission is required for Candanadians to travel to Edofasia. Contact your nearest Edofasian mission to find out more about the visa application process.

Dual citizenship with Candanadium is not recognized by Edofasia. If you are considered a citizen of Edofasia by the Edofasian government for whatever reason, you will need to enter Edofasia using your Edofasian passport and the ability of the Government of Candanadium to provide you with consular assistance may be seriously limited, as your Candanadian citizenship will not be recognized by the Edofasian government. Present yourself as a Candanadian whenever possible.

The local currency is the Edofasian pound, divided into 100 pence. The local emergency number is 505.

Cannabis is a legal and regulated substance in Edofasia, which is available for purchase and recreational consumption to all those older than the age of 18. However, it is illegal for export to nations where cannabis is illegal and penalties may range from fines to jail time. Cannabis is a Class A banned substance in Candanadium and is thus prohibited from import and possession unless for medical purposes, and Candanadian travellers returning from Edofasia must ensure that they are not carrying any cannabis, as it is a crime in Candanadium and Edofasia to do so. Violators may face penalties from the Edofasian government which may include being banned from visiting Edofasia in the future.

Hautsing, Candanadium

Although Hautsing is administered as a province of Candanadium, it has been included in this guide due to its distance from the Candanadian mainland and differences in climate and culture. Hautsing is a largely tropical island. The official languages are Hautsing Mandarin, Kanadiaans, and Oseanian, and at least two of the three are spoken by most residents. Major cities include the provincial capital of Mutterhafen, New Klettastrand, and Neuhaven.

Hautsing maintains close ties to the provinces of the Candanadian mainland and travellers from the mainland are a common sight. Crime rates are about the same, if not lower, than on the Candanadian mainland. Seasonal dangers may include monsoons, rainstorms, flooding, and landslides. Travellers are advised to not enter the wild bush without a guide or self-defence due to local wildlife, and travellers are not advised to go hiking alone.

Valid government identification is required to board any domestic flights to Hautsing. All Candanadians from the core provinces have an indefinite right to remain and work in Hautsing, as it is a province of Candanadium. There are no additional entry requirements for travellers entering from the Candanadian mainland. Travellers entering Candanadium through Hautsing will be subject to the same immigration controls as any traveller to Candanadium.

Hautsing, as part of Candanadium, uses the Candanadian thaler as its currency, but the Akarean Yuan may also be accepted at tourist hotspots or urban centres. The emergency number is 991, as is the case in the rest of Candanadium. Travellers from Core Candanadium may approach any Hautsing Provincial Government office or federal government office for essential services.

The Chiefdom of Jokullheim

Jokullheim is an arctic nation, prone to long winter nights and sub-freezing temperatures. Trefjalli is the official language, but the local dialect varies greatly from standard Trefjalli in terms of accent and vocabulary, and Kanadiaans may be understood by most in the capital. Major cities include the capital of Brukallhide, as well as Kerchlacks and Magnarlock. Crime rates are low and most cities are safe at all times of the day, but it is not advisable to wander into the tundra alone and unarmed. Local wildlife, especially the wild brukall, native to the nation, can be especially dangerous, and it is advised for travellers to stay in the cities after sundown. It is important for travellers to remember to keep warm during the winter months and seek counselling should they experience what is known as "winter blues".

Relations with Candanadium are exceedingly positive due to high amounts of trade and cultural ties through the Kaltach Union. However, travellers are not a very common sight but will likely face no discrimination from locals.

A valid Candanadian passport is required to enter Jokullheim. Candanadians travelling for leisure or business purposes staying for less than 90 days will not need to obtain a visa in advance. Lengths of stay may be extended at the discretion of the local immigration authorities. Candanadians intending to visit for longer than 90 days, live, or work in Jokullheim will need to obtain a visa along with other documentation as required by local authorities. Contact your local Jokullheime mission to learn more about moving or immigrating to Jokullheim.

The local currency is the Jokullheime raven, which circulates alongside the Candanadian Gold Mark (equal in value). There is no local emergency phone number as mobile phone signal access is sporadic throughout the country and most people are armed due to the dangers posed by the wildlife.

The Second United Kingdom of Meltor The Third United Kingdom of Meltor

Meltor is a largely desert nation, with green areas on the coast where all major cities are located. Major cities include the capital of Perisu, as well as Harlan, Garcia, Pelio, and Nedia. The official language is Meltorian, which has two main dialects, being Standard Meltorian and Arimias Meltorian. The former is spoken in most major cities and around the coast, whereas the latter is more prevalent in the desert region. Other languages are not regularly spoken.

Meltor as a whole is a largely unstable nation, with various corporate militias and rebel groups grappling for control with the imperial government. Organized crime and general lawlessness is rampant throughout the nation, with the desert portions largely under the control of various raider bands. The desert is, in and of itself, a very inhospitable place, with venomous scorpions and little to no human activity aside from the aforementioned raiders and rebels. Candanadian travellers are advised to stay in the cities unless well protected. The safest area in the country overall is the Kingdom of Actu. As of October 2016, Meltor is currently in a state of civil war between the Government of the Third United Kingdom and various corporate factions. Any Candanadians in the country not on official business should leave as soon as possible, as consular assistance will be limited.

A valid Candanadian passport is required to enter Meltor. Candanadians travelling for leisure or business purposes staying for less than 14 days will not need to obtain a visa in advance. Lengths of stay may be extended at the discretion of the local immigration authorities. Candanadians intending to visit for longer than 14 days, live, or work in Meltor will need to obtain a visa along with other documentation as required by local authorities. Contact your local Meltorian mission to learn more about moving or immigrating to Meltor. Meltorian visa issuance has been placed on hold by Meltorian authorities except for those entering Meltor on humanitarian or military grounds. Meltorian visas issued prior to the outbreak of the civil war have had their validity suspended.

The local currency is the Meltorian statzoon. The local emergency number is 811, but response times are notoriously slow.

REDUCED SERVICES DUE TO STAFF WITHDRAWAL, CALL BEFORE VISITING

The Republic of Satoyama

Satoyama is a small, tropical, but urban nation. Satoyaman is the official language, but Akarean Mandarin is almost universally spoken and understood. Oseanian is taught in schools. Outside of the capital, Nagahama, there are several outlying towns and villages, including Daiben & Shoben, a popular destination for Candanadians. Crime rates are low and most areas are safe at all times of the day. However, there are ongoing concerns regarding gang activity throughout the country. Street racing is also a pervasive phenomenon, despite it being illegal, and travellers should pay special attention when driving or walking at night.

Relations with Candanadium are overall positive due to Satoyama's status as a KU observer state. Foreign travellers are a regular sight and will face little, if any discrimination from locals.

A valid Candanadian passport is required to enter Satoyama. Candanadians travelling for leisure or business staying for less than 90 days will not need to obtain a visa in advance. Lengths of stay may be extended at the discretion of the local immigration authorities. Candanadians intending to visit for longer than 90 days, study, live, or work in Satoyama will need to obtain a visa along with other documentation as required by local authorities. Contact your local Satoyaman mission to learn more about moving or immigrating to Satoyama.

Satoyaman cultural etiquette features several strict rules and is altogether very different from general Kaltach etiquette. Candanadian travellers should be mindful of local customs and respect local cultural practices. Some major rules include not sitting with one's legs crossed or open, not walking on the wrong side of the road, and not eating in public.

Satoyama is home to a large range of exotic wildlife, including frogs, birds, and other reptiles. It is advised not to interact with the wildlife as certain species may be aggressive or poisonous to humans. Satoyama is prone to typhoons and other tropical storms during the first half of the year. The Satoyaman Meteorological Agency (気象庁) provides alerts in Satoyaman, Akarean Mandarin, Oseanian, and Kanadiaans. During storm seasons, the travel advisory may be adjusted accordingly.

The local currency is the Satoyaman yen. The local emergency numbers are 555, 276, and 429.

Cannabis is a legal and regulated substance in Satoyama, which is available for purchase and recreational consumption to all those older than the age of 20. Cannabis is considered a Class A banned substance in Candanadium under federal law and is therefore prohibited from import and possession unless for medical reasons. Candanadian travellers returning from Satoyama must ensure that they are not carrying any such substances, as it is a crime to do so. Trefjall

Trefjall is a nation known for its seismic and volcanic activity. Trefjalli is the official language, but Oseanian and Kanadiaans are spoken and understood by most due to the large amount of contact with Candanadium. Major cities include the capital of Klettastrond, and Hofn. Crime rates are low and most cities are safe at all times of the day.

Relations with Candanadium are exceedingly positive due to the Candanadian-Trefjalli Mutual Defence and Free Trade Agreement. Candanadian travellers are a regular sight and are viewed positively by most locals.

If you are driving to Trefjall, be advised that you must have taken out a Trefjalli car insurance plan valid for the entirety of your stay prior to entry and have obtained a Trefjalli licence plate to be attached alongside your Candanadian plate for your vehicle at the nearest Trefjalli mission.

Proof of Candanadian citizenship is required for Candanadians entering Trefjall. This could include drivers' licences, health cards, passports, or birth certificates. Caskhomirians and Belkhomirians must enter Trefjall using their regional passports. Candanadians may remain and work in Trefjall indefinitely, as is the case with Trefjalli in Candanadium, but may not vote in local elections. Permanent Residents of any region of Candanadium will need to enter Trefjall with their Permanent Resident cards and will be allowed to remain indefinitely, but will require a work pass to work.

The local currency is the Trefjalli krona. The local emergency number is 112.

Drugs such as cannabis and LSD and hard drugs such as cocaine and crack are legal in Trefjall, along with a number of other dangerous substances. "Soft" drugs such as cannabis are legal for consumption and purchase for all those above the age of 18, but "hard" drugs such as cocaine are only legal at 21. The export of all drugs is illegal under Trefjalli law and offenders are subject to fines and prison time. All of these substances are also Class A banned substances in Candanadium and are thus prohibited for import and possession except for medical purposes. Candanadian travellers must not be carrying any of these substances when returning from Trefjall, or they will face charges in both Trefjall and Candanadium.

Stateless Territories

The Government of Candanadium is aware that many Candanadian citizens, especially those living in southern Candanadium, have family members in the various settlements of the Stateless Territories, and thus, visit the Stateless Territories often. The Government of Candanadium is also aware that Candanadian citizens often travel to the Stateless Territories for sport, such as hunting, or for work. The various settlements outside the tripoint are relatively orderly and safe compared to the conditions in other Stateless Territories, and will generally accept Candanadian passports and other documents as proof of identity and regularly allow Candanadian citizens entry. However, not all settlements will grant entry to Candanadian citizens or recognize Candanadian documents, especially those further away from the Candanadian border. Entry to these settlements may be granted or denied on completely arbitrary grounds, and payment of a hefty entry fee in cash is often required. Never travel alone in Stateless Territory.

Settlements close to the tripoint are regularly patrolled by the Candanadian Rangers and the Federal Constabulary in cooperation with Varskhomirian and Alpenraumisch forces, meaning that they are usually safe from attack or crime. However, crimes such as theft, robbery, grand theft auto, and kidnappings are still common, and human traffickers regularly operate in the area. Slavery and arranged marriages are legal in certain settlements, and Candanadian citizens may find themselves enslaved on completely arbitrary grounds. If you are a victim of such crimes, there is little that the Candanadian government can do to help. The Government of Candanadium strongly encourages all Candanadian citizens to arm themselves before venturing deep into Stateless Territory. Open and concealed carry are legal and expected in most settlements. Most settlements will not have a dedicated law enforcement service or police force, but larger settlements may have a small community watch-style force.

Diseases, especially sexually transmitted diseases, are incredibly common in the Stateless Territories, due to low standards of personal hygiene and overall cleanliness. Toiletries and hygiene products may be incredibly hard to come by deep in the Stateless Territories.

Telephone communication becomes nonexistent deeper into Stateless Territory. It is advised that you bring a satellite phone with you if you are travelling for an extended period in Stateless Territory. Internet access may be offered at larger settlements, but is often extremely slow. The Royal Candanadian Post as well as the postal services of Varskhomir and Alpenraum maintain branch offices in most settlements within ~200km of the tripoint, but delivery will take much longer than usual.

A valid Candanadian passport is required for Candanadian citizens to exit Candanadium and to re-enter Candanadium from Stateless Territory. Candanadium does not maintain any diplomatic missions in Stateless Territory, but the Candanadian-Varskhomirian-Alpenraumisch Joint Ranger Station will issue emergency travel documents if needed.

Candanadian citizens travelling further into Stateless Territories are advised to bring currencies and exchange certificates backed by gold, such as the Candanadian Gold Mark, which may be accepted more regularly than the Candanadian thaler, though many settlements closer to the Candanadian border will accept both. Credit cards and other electronic forms of payment are not valid in most settlements in Stateless Territory.

The Government of Candanadium strongly discourages Candanadian citizens from travelling in the Stateless Territories for extended periods of time. If you absolutely must travel in the Stateless Territories for an extended period of time, it is advised for you to prepare:

  • A last will and testament

  • Sufficient arms and ammunition,

  • A personal security plan or detail,

  • Last wishes and funeral plans,

  • A communication plan with friends and family back home,

  • A designated person of contact in case of kidnapping,

  • A proof of life protocol with family, which may include leaving behind DNA samples.
