Ammar al-Asteorra for Secretary General
Introduction:
Greetings to my friends and fellow citizens of Kantrias. Many of you, I hope, know me and many here I have worked with before. I am running for Secretary General in hopes of expanding our ties to our historical allies, growing our region through recruitment and integration, and doing many cultural events both internal and external.
Foreign Affairs:
Within Foreign Affairs I will work towards strengthening our current alliances and embassies by reaching out to our diplomatic partners to build treaties and find other ways of working together. I will pursue relations with regions that match our cultural identity and would be willing and equal partners.
Internal Affairs:
Internally I will have a large focus on recruitment and integration. I will work towards a Stamp Drive as well as hosting an application to push out API telegrams and I will create a manual recruitment team which will work and even compete with each other to get the most recruits. Similarly to the recruitment team I will have an integration team with the goal of integrating more nations to our discord. I hope to have us reach a residency of over 100 nations site-side during my term.
Cultural Affairs:
Culturally I will pursue festivals with our allies as well as work with the legislature to create legal regional holidays that we will celebrate as well. I will work with both the Foreign and Internal Ministers to make sure the Cultural Minister is able to be kept up to date and bring us many more festivities.
