A Brief History:
Ever since 1964 with the election of Robert Adams, the Renin Union of Labor(RUL or RUoL) has held a secure grasp on power. however, the 2020 election showed many voters moving over to the Renin Communist Party (RCP). This trend was exacerbated in the 2022 Parliament elections as well. RUoL still retains its majority in the body, however with new elections next year, it is unsure whether RUoL will continue its hold or the Communists will gain a majority in Parliament for the first time. This situation is even worse for the RUoL because the Elections for the prime minister are in 2024. The government formed under Livia Morgenstern has had many successes, however many people in Rhenna feel the economy has begun to stagnate and the RUL isn't left enough. Even more worring is the rise of the pro-capitalist "The Freedom League(TFL)". While holding little to no sway on the nation's policies, it is a worrying trend.
