Sail Nation's WA Delegate Interview

Green = Gwentrev
Orange = Sail nation

What is your experience with the Wold Assembly? Have you ever been delegate of another region?

I have always had an interest in the WA and have occasionally discussed draft proposals in the world assembly forums. Unfortunately I haven't been a delegate before apart from once in a tiny region with only a couple of endorsements because of a couple of real life friends.

If elected, how would you ensure that you stay the WA delegate? Are you in favor of a endorsement cap?

I plan to at first cap endorsements at 75% of my endorsements, adjusting it to a firm number of my choosing when the region becomes larger, appropriate to the number of WA members in the region

How do you believe the delegate should be related to the regional government?

As per the constitution, I believe the delegate should be separate to regional government, only being called upon by the PM to make a decision when absolutely necessary, and not interfering in cabinet meetings.

How would you decide how to vote on WA proposals?

I will try not to let my own feelings interfere, instead, I will let the people of Lorania vote first, and follow them, and secondly I conduct debate and discussion in the RMB between all residents of Lorania, and will let them convince me how to vote

How would you decide which proposals would you approve?

This I will decide more myself, approving which proposals are written well and address important issues, also letting residents suggest what proposals I should approve and why. I will approve what they want approved first though.

Why do you want to be delegate?

I believe that it is a great experience and learning opportunity for me, it is also not very time-consuming. I'm mainly doing it to help build Lorania.

Anything else you would like to add?

Not really, just please vote for me in this and the HoC elections! Thank You!

Thank you, I do have a follow up question.

You said you were in favor of an endorsement cap. Would this be enforced? If so, how?
Enforcing endorsement caps can be difficult and I simply would ask anyone to not endorse anyone who is at the endorsement cap. I will also encourage WA members to notice when they reach the endorsement cap and then ask people to un-endorse them. I am against any legal actions apart from if I and several others suspect that someone is trying to remove me from the position forcefully.
