Purpose

The amendment seeks to limit the time of a state of emergency.

The amendment shall be implemented immediately.

Passed by the General Assembly on 5 August 2020. Required a majority in favour to pass.

1. During an invasion of the region, the Secretary may declare a situation henceforth known as a state of emergency

2. In a state of emergency, the following shall occur:

   1. Any nation with Border Control authority may implement a password and banject nations suspected of cooperating with the invaders

   2. The Supreme Court may privately investigate any actions taken and reverse them with a majority in favour

1. During an invasion of the region, the Secretary may declare a state of emergency for up to two weeks:

   1. The Secretary may voluntarily conclude the state of emergency at any point should the threat no longer persist

   2. Any extension to this time frame may be granted with a majority of the Supreme Court in favour

2. In a state of emergency, the following shall occur:

   1. Any nation with Border Control authority may implement a password and banject nations suspected of cooperating with the invaders

   2. The Supreme Court may privately investigate any actions taken and reverse them with a majority in favour
