The Wintodor Accords [REPEALED]

THE ODRYAN REPUBLIC - THE PEOPLE’S CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC OF WINTERCREST

The Wintodor Accords

SECTION I: DIPLOMATIC RECOGNITION

  1. The People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest, as established per The Constitution of Wintercrest, and any legitimate successor to it, is hereby recognized as the legitimate government of Wintercrest by The Odryan Republic

  2. The Odryan Republic, as established per the Official Odryan Constitution, and any legitimate successor to it, is hereby recognized as the legitimate government of Odrya by The People’s Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest.

  3. The People’s Republic of Wintercrest and The Odryan Republic shall be henceforth referred to as the “Parties”.

  4. The Parties shall uphold continuous diplomatic relations between them for the duration of these accords

  5. Neither Parties may knowingly enter diplomatic relationships with fascist, Nazist, or otherwise alt-right regions and organizations.


SECTION II: NON-AGGRESSION

  1. The Parties may not invade, raid, coup or support any of these actions aimed against one another or against any territory under their jurisdiction.

  2. The Parties may not commit espionage or any other subversive actions against one another or against any territory under their jurisdiction.

  3. The Parties shall undertake to settle any international dispute in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security and justice are not endangered, and to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner.

  4. Parties are prohibited from signing treaties with regions openly hostile to a Party.


SECTION III: MUTUAL DEFENSE

  1. Parties shall provide all military assistance should the other Party be subject to an invasion, raid, coup, or other such military attack.

    1. For the purpose of Section III, Article I, a military attack on one or more of the Parties is deemed to include an attack on the territory of any of the Parties around the NationStates world, including but not limited to: protectorate states, puppet states, remote islands, or colonized states.

  2. When requested, the Parties shall assist each other in Delegacy transfers.

  3. Parties agree to provide each other intelligence, on a need-to-know basis, on the acts or intentions of any party engaging in military hostilities or any acts of subversion against the home region, territories, and/or legitimate government of either Party. This intelligence shall be shared with relevant security organization as laid out in the domestic laws of each region.

  4. Parties agree to keep any shared intelligence confidential unless doing so would violate applicable laws, or the terms of service for NationStates or said Party forum provider, or unduly compromise said Party sources of information.

  5. Parties agree to have an active and sovereign military for as long as this pact is in place. Parties agree not to cede sovereign control of their militaries to third parties

  6. In order more effectively to achieve the objectives of these Accords, the Parties, separately and jointly, by means of continuous and effective self-help and mutual aid, will maintain and develop their individual and collective capacity to resist armed attack.


SECTION IV: REPEAL AND AMENDMENTS

  1. At any time, either Party may suggest amendments to this pact. Should the respective Heads of State for the Parties agree, the amendment shall go by legal ways as outlined in laws of respective parties.

  2. At any time, either Party may decide to repeal and abolish this pact. Upon notification to the other Party of such a repeal, this pact shall be immediately repealed.

  3. Repeal of this pact shall not be seen as an act of hostility and shall not dictate closure of relations.
