FUNDAMENTAL LAW OF THE COMMUNIST ALLIED DEFENSE ORGANIZATION

Chapter One: Ideology

Article 1: The Communist Allied Defense Organization (CADO) is a socialist, state of workers and peasants.

Article 3: That being said, we recognize that every nation-state is different and has unique histories that contribute to different versions of pro-worker policies. So long as a nation-state is committed to better lives for workers through government intervention of the economy, that nation will be welcomed in CADO. Understanding that Nationstates issues sometimes have unexpected outcomes, nations will not be judged merely by their national rankings but also their national goals.

Article 5: The Supreme Soviet has the power to amend this constitution, remove officers, elect a new Premier if the office falls vacant, and undertake any other executive, judicial, or legislative action for the region.

Article 6: Upon convening, the Supreme Soviet shall elect an Assembly Chairperson who will oversee the proceedings and ensure discussions stay on track.

Article 7: A Supreme Soviet will end with either a formal vote to adjourn, or if official business has not been discussed over the course of 96 hours.

Chapter Three: Security

Article 1: The Premier shall have the authority to set an endorsement cap, which limits the number of endorsements nations may receive in the region.

Article 2: The Premier and his designated Ministers have the authority to defend the region from imminent attacks from within or without.

Article 3: All World Assembly nations within the region must endorse the Premier and any designated officers.

Chapter Four: Rights

Article 1: All nation-states shall have the right of freedom of speech and the press within the region.

Article 2: All nation-states have the right to call a Supreme Soviet.

Article 3: All nation-states may govern their nations as they see fit, so long as the ideology of those nations remain broadly pro-worker.
