Brief history of BillNyeLand19th century: Historic BillNyeLand is a string of cities and fishing villages along the coast, comprising roughly South, Central, North, and a quarter of East BillNyeLand (see map).
20th century: BillNyeLand becomes of the puppet of a large, corrupt, authoritarian, "socialist"-then-state-capitalist state. East BillNyeLand is annexed directly as a Constituent State.
1989: Parent state dissolves; BillNyeLand transitions to democratic government. East BillNyeLand secures its independence, but soon falls under a dictatorship.
1994: BillNyeLand scientific and military presence in unclaimed, unpopulated far north.
1998: East BillNyeLand's dictatorial government collapses. East BillNyeLand petitions to rejoin BillNyeLand.
1999: East BillNyeLand admitted to BillNyeLand.
2005: BillNyeLand joins the New Western Atlantic.
2008: Northern regions annexed as Arctic BillNyeLand.
