THE DECLARATION of FOUNDATION ofTHE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC of AURORA
Greetings, fellow comrades!
As we can currently see, all leftist fighters in NationStates face the growing and boiling sickly mass of reaction and conservatism slowing down the revolutionary justice drive of agitation. The last years have brought more and more social and economic troubles in real life, heating radical ideas yet leaving the Internet communities for the more well-off, time-affording, and politically moderate part of human society. Because of this, the NationStates-wide community suffers blows each passing month - especially the left wing of it.
The last months of existence have come to bring nothing but stagnation for both Soyuz and Asterya, two brotherly Onionist regions. Despite all plans for community building and expansion, inactivity reigns in them, slowly infecting other regions of InterLeft. The emergency measures taken by the government of Soyuz, transferring the power over to the Party authorities didn't yield significant results. Regional construction in Asterya was halted halfway. In the end, both regions continued to maintain a mass of passive members - with only a limited number of active ones, desiring to keep carrying the banner of regional construction forward. Yet they were too few to make any difference.
Very soon the stagnation grew so immense it threatened the existence of both brotherly communities. This is why the governments of the Socialist People's Republic of Soyuz and the Provisional Republic of Asterya have decided to move from simple interregional cooperation further towards creating a synergizing connection - with its highest manifestation becoming the merger of these two communities, under the name of AURORA.
This new union shall lead to the efficient consolidation of both regions' forces, making it far easier for the re-united Onionist community to operate in the challenging environment of the NationStates' expanse. Thriving of this union shall become the best, practical apology from the officials for their mistakes that led Soyuz and Asterya to the swamp of inactivity.
A lot of troubles await us on our path, comrades. Yet our collective shall overcome everything and anything that dares to stand in the way of progress!
