Dear Warzone Sandbox

I wanted to turn the region into something cool and wonderful, and I've put some work into the theme and discord and things, but deep inside I was scared to get it off the ground. Right about when I decided to really put the work in and aim for the dream, this game reminded me once again that it's just really not a wholesome place, and it's not conducive to creating healthy communities on site. I can't bring myself to make a community out of something grounded in game play. I can't bring myself to dedicate time to a base product of the game, or to support it financially through stamps. And let's be honest here, the chances of success from one person growing a warzone starting out small and without stamps is slim. The whole plan was kind of a house of cards, considering it's a warzone and I wanted to make a thriving community out of it. My convictions OOC however are obviously far stronger than my game play wants, and I'm pretty burned out besides. Sometimes this crazy game of NationStates just finds me, reminds me, and overwhelms me with it's top down toxic fumes.

I'm just going to leave this note here as long as it's pinned. To the next person/org that decides to make something out of the sandbox, I hope it goes absolutely swell.
