This past week, multiple reports have been made pertaining to a mysterious creature that seems to shapeshift and take the form of people. Due to the amount of reports, park officials recommend that hikers do not go outside of their tents or cabins at night, and to stay on the trails at all times. It is commonly believed that the signs that someone is being impersonated by a skinwalker are "having a preference for uncooked meat, repeating phrases that others around them have said, dry heaving, and wanting to stay in the woods where the victim was slain". Researchers say that the base form of a skinwalker is "almost like that of a hairless dog... signs that a skinwalker is nearby are an intense coppery odor, and loud screeching or howling". Currently, areas of Skyhill National Park where large amounts of sightings took place are closed down for official police investigation. A task force has been organized by government officials to hunt down these mysterious creatures.
