The Founding of Lunteris;
On December 21st, 2015, a group of oppressed peoples fled in mass exodus to escape the turmoil and bloodshed of their previous nation's civil war. They trudged through the snowy wasteland at the peak of winter in order to find a land to call their own, where they could establish a Democratic Republic that fought for political freedom and civil rights. Eventually they reached a wasteland where they could establish their new nation, among the casual nations of That One Place. Through the efforts of the expedition leader Windsor Kermit Arthurson, the group of 5 million met minimal deaths on the journey, and they set up Lunteris. Now this new nation is met with new challenges: running a new economy, providing healthcare and education, and managing foreign affairs. In spite of these challenges. nothing will suppress these peoples' newfound freedoms. The peoples of this nation, or Lunterii, will pursue bringing freedom and liberty to other nations, along with the goal of cultivating their barren land to an environmentally sound and agriculturally supportive homeland.
