The Independent Leftist Front

The Independent Leftist Front is a multi-tendency organization dedicated to advancing the cause of socialism, be it communist, democratic socialist, anarcho-communist or otherwise. We adhere steadfastly to our left-wing principles and work for a stronger Leftist Assembly. We believe that only through affirming the equality of the sexes and races and by advancing the interests of the working classes through cooperation -regardless of specific ideologies- can we realize a better world.

•Upholding the democratic nature of The Leftist Assembly: Encouraging region members to vote, regardless of party ties and providing a party for those who are unable to be properly represented by others.

•Education and Dialogue About Modern Social Issues: We bring issues such as sexual, gender and racial inequality to the mainstream as well as educating those willing to learn the reality of the issues, how to solve them and providing resources for those struggling.

•Diplomacy Over Armed Intervention: We feel that our armed forces should be dedicated to the security of our region and not embark on assaults on other regions, instead using diplomacy and negotiation when possible.

•Barring of Reactionaries Into The Region: Pass and uphold legislation restricting entry of those who willingly oppress or follow dangerous ideologies.

•Regional Roleplay: Promote roleplay as a way to engage members of the region and as means of recruitment.

The General Secretary shall be responsible for holding votes, reaching consensus, keeping records and maintaining party discipline.
The President shall be responsible for recruiting new members and disseminating party information to the Leftist Assembly.
The Vice-President shall be responsible for assuming the responsibilities of either the General Secretary or the President should that respective officer be incapable of fulfilling their duties.
Members are the body of the party and most important component, voting on internal matters and participating in the regional government, either through voting or running in elections.

Section I: The members of the party are encouraged and expected to adhere to the beliefs of the party as well as participate in the regional government.
Section II: Fascists, National Socialists and other reactionaries shall be barred from membership in the Front, with the exception of those who wish to reform their nation into one compliant with the mission and nature of the region.
Section III: Spirited debate on issues is both welcome and highly encouraged.
Section IV: (Internal Affairs)By horizontally integrating the members of The Leftist Assembly into the democracy of the region, the Independent Leftist Front will ensure that the region is stronger and better equipped for the problems of our time.
Section V: (Foreign Affairs)The Front believes that our defense forces should focus on defending the integrity of the Leftist Assembly rather than devoting resources to offensives on other regions.
Section VI: One of the main goals of the Front is to increase roleplaying in the Leftist Assembly. Under our leadership, the Assembly will participate in regular RPs both between our member nations and with other regions. This will both boost recruitment numbers and provide entertainment for our members.
