We were residents of the once great region of Oceanside, but accidentally ceased to exist and the old region died. We refounded in Osiris, then found Nasicournia through a Tag Search for “issues player.” And voila! Here we are.
Maniaca, Pope Hope, and Goobergunchia II
Well hello! We're a pretty quiet region, to be honest. Most of us were defenders and active over 15 years ago. It's generally considered that Nasicournia is a monument really, we just sort of act like caretakers really :)
BTW, I see Oceanside is refounded now. Not that we're trying to get rid of you, just wanted to make sure you were aware.

Thank you! Oceanside was mostly a monument region too. The refounded region lacks the legacies of the dead nations. So this region feels famaliar. Also, it is nice to be able to access your embassy network of friendly regions. The Oceanside network had been destroyed by raiders.

Do you think bring a Benevolent Dictatorship aided your overall achievements?
I don't think so -- I really don't know what the gameplay factors are that influence population growth, other than time. It seems to be just linear addition every day, regardless of policies. If I'm wrong I'd love to know what they are
