Step 1: Meet the requirements
Residency does not require WA(World Assembly) membership, but to vote in assembly you have to have a WA nation. you must meet the following requirements:
You must have a nation in Bangla;
You must not pose a threat to regional security.
Step 2: Take the oath
Fill in and post the following application:
Nation: [INSERT YOUR NATION] I pledge loyalty to Bangla, obedience to her laws, and responsible action as a member of her society. I pledge to only register one nation to vote in Bangla Regional Assembly. I pledge that no nation under my control will wage war against the Bangla. I understand that if I break this oath I may permanently lose my voting privileges. In this manner, I petition the Speaker for citizenship in Bangla. |

When registering for Citizenship, one has to refer to their actual nation (i.e. the nation name you type in when logging on to NationStates).
Basically, either:
1. A link to your nation on NationStates (the nation tag helps),
2. Referring to your nation by its name without prefixes (for example, Bangla instead of The Republic of Bangla in the registration post),
is NECESSARY for the Speaker's Office to process your application.
Step 3: Participate in the region
Most of the time, your application will be approved within a few days. When this happens, you will be placed in a constituencies that allows you to vote for the Regional Assembly. You are allowed to vote in any voting thread that begins AFTER you are admitted. Please note that to stay a Citizen, you must post in the discord every so often and maintain a nation in Banglad. For more details on these citizenship requirements, ask the Speaker or consult the Legal Code .
- No toxicity, flaming, baiting or any other inflammatory activity.
- There will be no spam on the RMB and Discord. However, the sh!tposting channels and Bot Spam channel are free game.
- No NSFW. Period. If you have something NSFW with yourself or another user you must keep it to DMs.
- Political discussion is strictly banned. No exceptions.
- Take all debates and discussions to their respective channels in the Discord.
- Do not advertise on the region or Discord without approval from the Moderation Team.
- After a month of inactivity without warning or special exception (which must be approved by Moderation) you will be removed from RP.
- Citizenship on the Discord Server is required to RP. If you leave the Discord Server for any reason for any time all of your RP is null and void until you re-enter and retain Citizenship. If you leave for a period equivalent to or exceeding one week you will have to re-apply your nation and Citizenship.
