Welcome to Week 4 of the Amaranthine Isles Sports League. This week, Ice Hockey, Cricket, and Baseball teams competed against each other.

The Amaranthine Isles Sports League is a new sports league that hosts a multitude of different international sporting events throughout The Amaranthine Isles. All nations within the region are eligible to send teams of athletes to compete against the best of the isles to win glory and bragging rights for their home.

In order to register your nation for competition, copy the following code and telegram the answers to Obrimenja Island.

What sports are available?

Gridiron - another name for American football in a world without America. Teams attempt to move a football into their opponent's endzone without turning over the ball in this full-contact sport.
Football - Teams attempt to kick a ball into their opponent's goal without touching the ball with their hands.
Basketball - Teams attempt to shoot a ball through a hoop while only moving the ball while only moving when dribbling.
Ice Hockey - Teams skate on ice while using sticks to hit a puck into their opponent's goal.
Cricket - Teams hit a ball and exchange places with each other until they are dismissed by the opposing team.
Baseball - teams hit a ball and run bases to score runs before they get three outs.

How are the winners decided?

All games will be decided by something known in NS Sports as a scorinator. This scorinator plays out the match between the two teams and determines the winner based off of both the team skill levels and random chance. While the more skilled team is more likely to win, the randomness means no game is certain. Team skill levels will be generated semi-randomly, taking into account which sports each country prioritizes.
