Lore Tidbit: The origins of the various Elysian Powers are left rather ambiguous in Dolphinist scripture. Zerachiel and Aphaeleon (sometimes referred to as the Twin Powers) are said to have sprung from the same source at the same instant, and also to share the same essence; specifically, that of the Dragon (Zerachiel) and the Eagle (Aphaeleon). Dragon and Eagle are persistently referred to as being "one," and this oneness is treated as self-evident (to wit, never explained).

Iaoth is said to have met the Twins during their wandering. They had not encountered mortals or demons at that time, but she had (in a past which is never described); her explanations caused them to become the sworn protectors of weaker beings. Following that decision, the three are referred to as siblings.

Anauel embraced Iaoth and danced with her, and they began to weave an endless Song of two voices but one accord. That's it, that's the explanation. Anauel's origin is so thoroughly unmentioned that they don't even "appear" (in Dolphinist scripture); they just dance with Iaoth, and are generally assumed to have existed beforehand. They are unambiguously one of the Powers of Elysium, a sibling of the other three, and an enemy of the Consuming Lords. Reasons for these things are never given; debate rages among theologians as to whether "reasons" is a concept which applies.

Floridian Australia and Oedaland

Oedaland

The Kingdom of Oedaland has a long historied past, seeing the first modern Human inhabitation during the Upper Paleolithic Period (from around 780,000 to 500,000 years ago), but it wouldn't be for another several hundred thousands of years until the modern state of Oedaland would be. Despite having inhabited the region for millennia it was only around 6,000 years ago that permanent inhabitation appears within the historical record. From around 2,500 to 800 BC the coastlands of northwestern Araseos, contemporarily referred to as Gelmoren, were first inhabited by the Beaker Culture, who were some of the first to use drinking vessels. However, at the beginning of the Iron Age we see the appearance of Celtic tribes who had settled the region south western portions of modern day Araseos. These tribes began the foundation of modern Oedish culture. There were several Celtic cultures before the arrival of the Natin Empire in 84 AC, including the Caleda, the Waesh, the Erinish, and the Gelmorri. Throughout the next few centuries Natin explorers and invaders attempted to seize the lands of Gelmoren under their realm. It was only until 84 AC under Emperor Domitian (placeholder) subsequently conquered a majority of the Gelmoren coasts, although not all the lands considered Gelmoren were claimed. These lands became a colonial outpost for the Natin Empire, known as Gelmorria. Future imperial endeavors would prove to gain little for the Empire, and especially during the late civil wars and germanic invasions of the Natin heartlands did Natin legionnaries completely abandon north Gelmorria in order to protect the Natin homeland. This culminated into a poorly defended sub-Natin Gelmorish population, some of the kings and successors to the Natin Gelmorrian state would later go on to invite Oeda-Gyrrnoth mercenaries from further south in the continent to come defend the Sub-Natin successor states from barbaric invaders. The first of these Oeda-Gyrrnoths arrived in the middle of the 4th Century AC, though some records account for even earlier settlements, whatever the case these germanic mercenaries were not merely here to serve, but as it would turn out they came to conquer the coasts of Gelmorria, which they had heard stories from other Celtic and Germanic tribes. They would settle these lands, renaming the coasts to Gelmoren, and overtime they became the direct descendants of modern Oedish speakers, thus began the rule of the Oeda-Gyrrnoth period and the germanization of the inhabitants of Gelmoren.

Oedaland, through centuries of conflicts between the various Gelmoren tribes and Oeda-Gyrrnoth kingdoms, would be unified into a single state under the Kingdom of Wesgyren by King Aedelstan I, who then became King of the Oeda-Gyrrnoth and King of the Oedish in the 10th Century AC. The unity of Oedaland allowed the kingdom to step forth into the later ages as a predominant middling power, however, due to internal unrest and extensive military defeats to it's larger neighbors it has never quite been a major power. However, the rise of modern technology, including the use of gunpowder, modern siege weaponry, and foreign advisory, the Kingdom of Oedaland began to progress, becoming a modern state by the turn of the 16th Century. Under the leadership of Kings Hanric VIII and his son Edmund VI which saw the pacification of the remaining Waesh states into the fold of the Kingdom of Oedaland. During this time, however, saw the rise of the Protestant Reformation which saw yet another bloody civil war tear the lands between the predominantly Catholic House of Tudur and the Protestant House of Eoforwic. The Tudurs were backed by the Altusians and the Italics, while on the other hand the Eoforwic were backed by the Terreich and Prussians. In the end the Catholic Tudurs retained their power and extinguished any and all Protestant movements that continued to fester for the next two centuries. Finally, in the beginning of the early 17th Century royal marriage between the ruling dynasties of Oedaland and Caleda would unite the realms, alongside Waeland and Erinland, into the United Realms of Gelmoren. Since then the realms have attempted to unite further into one consecutive state of the proposed Empire of Gelmoren, however disagreements between the Caleda, Erinish, and Waesh boiled over until the events of the Gelmorish Civil Wars broke out in 1922, 1956, 1979, and 1999. The First Gelmorish Civil War began with the breakaway of Southern Erinland, establishing the Republic of Southern Erinland, later renamed to the Republic of Erinland. Again war broke out in 1956 and 1979 over the remaining Erinish lands, as well as the states of Waeland and Caleda. Finally, war resumed when the Kingdom of Caleda launched an all out assault on northern Oedaland, leading to serious losses of Oedish lands. Today Oedaland is a very fractured place with an almost autocratic rule replacing the old order of the Realms of Gelmoren.

Enjoy! Also none of this is official as I have yet to actually rejoin Valsora yet, but hopefully I will soon.

I can have a scene with the Jock character where I'm like "we should be okay as long as we don't look in Kong's eyes or smile (or especially show our teeth). He'll take that as a challenge to fight, and respond accordingly," and then the Jock can die of not listening.

Yes. You are the voice of reason.

Nimbus would be placed into the Helicopter first, followed by Vera by strecher as she begins being treated while airborne, She would also be given a stronger concoction to better help assist Vera in keeping concious and breathing.
