That's not even a comprehensive list! That's three plants, and they could be the veggie portion of your diet all summer with no supplementation needed. They grow so abundantly and easily that we have a whole industry around trying to kill them (which is stupid as hell), and they're food.

It seriously frustrates me that people devalue them and treat them as nuisances, especially in a world where so many people struggle to find food. Those are precious resources you're trying to eradicate from your stupid lawn! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Well, a lot of weeds aren't quite edible, like giant hogweed...
A plant does not want to be eaten unless that's how the seeds spread best.
