my memory is poo, but in any case i think it's difficult to classify the RMB's thing as "eras" because it changes so much from year to year, unlike say TEP's government or something.

from what i'd say
2017 = another bout of RMB rp through TAMDEG, which was when the EU rose. rp during this time was shhiz quality in terms of everything
2018 = EU soldifies as an alliance hegemon on the new rmb map dibergia; NWU rises as well and now you get some WW1-steampunk-sci-fi shiz quality rp going with some higher-profile politics
2019 = Valsora under Nova becomes dominant map after some map struggles, rp activity is at its highest during this time. iirc EU wasn't much of a thing anymore, now you got Charity being hegemon, the Sanadan crusades, and Elementia godmodding her way into becoming a galatic power. Thanks to angel, rp quality rose a lot and more focused on modern tactics. though politics became less prevalent. i.e. when textwalls became prevalent
2020 = rp activity on Valsora starts dying down a bit, charity disappears
2021 = You start seeing a lot of secondary maps as valsora RP kinda just lays low and isn't that active, though the secondary maps never overtake valsora
2022 - 2023 = Valsora map troubles start to occur but end up being quashed with the formation of a map council, rp activity seemingly steps up a bit although the gaps in RP are filled by more ooc social talk and whacky RP like in days past
2024 = solidify RMB becoming more of a chaotic message board interspaced between spontaneous char RP like in 2017 alongside valsora political textwall RPs in 2024

so ig if I had to divide it into "eras" it'd be smth like
2017 & 2018 - When the random disjointed RMB RP usually present in regions solidifies into a map and common lore, ousting a lot of the social aspects of the RMB in a drown of "serious" RP activity
2019 & 2020 - Valsora dominates as the RMB RP scene, RMB's primary focus remains on RP though its longer and a lot more of higher quality. I think it's during this time you see a lot of oldies from the previous 'era' leave 'cuz it's just no longer their type of RP.
2021 - 2023 - Valsora is forced to redefine itself as its RP levels drop and issues with how the map is ran arise in various forms (secondary maps, Valsora 3034 or whatever it was); the RMB begins to fill the voids of RP with social activity
2024 - Mismash between the chaotic low quality RP you get when people are bored and having spontaneous fun is mixed in with high-quality RP textwalls in a now structurally sound but lower activity Valsora map

but that's just my guess, i haven't paied much attention to the rmb since 2021
