moments of anger happen and cause lapses in judgement. take the time that you need to calm down if you need it, but you should apologize to her, that is the best course of action. if your apology is sincere, then she will likely apologize for her statements as well

if youre angry from this, which you might reasonably be, try not to push that anger on other people and remember to be kind
