The Republic of Neo-Enuatu is a very large, safe nation, renowned for its state-planned economy, compulsory military service, and irreverence towards religion. The democratic population of 101 million Neo-Enuatuans love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 41.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but sluggish Neo-Enuatuan economy, worth 2.61 trillion enuat rubles a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient black market in Basket Weaving, Information Technology, Automobile Manufacturing, and Cheese Exports. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 25,851 enuat rubles, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Unpopular cops are fired at a moment's notice by the citizens they police, the "temporary replacement bus service" is now a permanent fixture, ghost regiments exist only on paper, and human sacrifice to the metaphorical altar of Mammon ensures national prosperity. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Neo-Enuatu's national animal is the turtle-lion, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.

Neo-Enuatu is ranked 206,020th in the world and 66th in Callista for Largest Gambling Industry, scoring -2.5 on the Kelly Criterion Productivity Index.
