On the design of the flag

The entire flag design is based on the sky and/or our nation's hopes for the future.
The blue background is to represent the sky and the white star is to represent the sun. Its 12-pointed design was also to represent progress throughout time. (Many Astrivan clocks have a 12-pointed star on them as well)
The eye is meant to symbolize looking towards the stars and towards our future, while its green iris is to represent Astriva's thriving ecosystem. (Some may be seen displaying the flag so that this eye is pointed downwards, a protest of authoritarianism.)
