The Niems Liberation Forces

The Niems Liberation Forces (NLF) is the military of the Republic of Niems. It is split into four branches, the Liberation Army (LA), the Niems Red Fleet (NRF), the Niems Air Forces (NAF) and the Division for Miracle Weapons (DMW). It's main objective is the defense of the Niemsan people, as well as the defense of the revolution's ideal. The LA is notoriously underfunded, which leads to shortcomings in the field. It's tank brigades consist mostly of repainted Soviet WW2 tanks, which have been rebranded as the N-100 Destroyer SPA.
The NRF was founded only a couple of years ago and consitst of 16 Coastal Submarines, 2 Light Cruisers (Niems and the People) and an old french warship from the 17th century, that was donated a hundred years ago. The plans for the NRF are the construction of a a air-carrier, called Revolution. This would be a great advantage for the NAF, which currently lacks any airports to operate from.
The DMW is the most funded branch of the NLF, it researches Rockets, NBC weapons and even flying cars! It has yet failed to launch a single of its inventions.
