Rinadia (Rinadian: Rineidiiyu [ɹɪne͡ɪdijə]), officially the Hyperfederal People’s Democratic Republic of Rinadia (Rinadian: Vedaikiirineidiiyunu [vɛda͡ɪkiɹɪne͡ɪdijənə]), is a transarmed, semi-presidential nation spanning nearly the entirety of the Orion Spur, central Perseus Arm, and Long Bar. It borders the Movan Socialist Republics, Makaran Empire, New Andromeda, and 15 other nations. It is the second largest nation by star systems and third largest in cubic area. It has a population of 103 septillion, ranking it as the third most populous country in the Milky Way. It has 3 official languages, Diiyunu, Movan, and Dagonu, with 4 recognized languages, and thousands of others. Rinadia is home to hundreds of sapient species with thousands of different cultures. Its capital, Beukorerineidiiyunudo sits just at the outskirts of the Trappist-1 Oort cloud.
Rinadia is one of the youngest nations and civilizations in the Milky Way today. The origin of the rinei species is heavily disputed, however based on recently declassified documents the true origin may be Sol-3. Before rineis arrived at Trappist-1 in /86vozho/123voko/119vogo/135bovo/139bobo/, they fought tirelessly with one another in a bid for power as a result of extreme ideological diversity, costing countless lives and causing the near-extinction of the rinei species. The infighting temporarily stopped upon arrival and construction of the Beukore. In-fighting promptly resumed after its construction, however it began to show signs of slowing down. The ideological struggle came to a stop completely after the rise of Daiyumenai Lakeinu in /82vozho/33voko/44vogo/138bovo/139bobo/. Her rule brought numerous reforms to Rinadian society, such as the homogenization of ideology, prioritization of economic efficiency, and restructuring Rinadian society into a semi-feudalist system, with an extreme emphasis on loyalty, equality, and labor. Daiyumenaian rule would officially come to an end in /31vozho/74voko/1vogo/143bovo/139bobo/ after the Tiisaipeidohaiku'en, bringing forth yet another massive reform to Rinadian society and politics and establishing a democratic government.
Today Rinadia is considered to be a galactic superpower, being ground zero of the Dzaitsenakateu, and a key player in IGW III. The nation boasts the highest GDP in the Milky Way and its economy accounts for nearly 43% of the Milky Way's total GDP. Rinadian citizens enjoy universal healthcare, free education, and universal basic income. Rinadia scores a whopping 2.6 on the Kardashev scale, tied with New Andromeda. Rinadia is a founding member of the Conglomerate of United Civilizations, the RAMMO Trade and Defense Coalition, and the Perseus Research Pact.
Etymology
Originating from the name of the generation starship that brought rineis to Trappist-1, the name Rinadia, or Rineidiiyu came from Rineidiiyudo, meaning the utopia of rineis. As Diiyunu developed and changed along with Rinadian culture, the article do was dropped and the name Rineidiiyu remained. Upon the settling of Hodokodado on Sol-3 in /102vozho/126voko/3vogo/104bovo/103bobo/, interaction between natives and colonists gave rise to the English Rinadia.
History
Pre-Arrival Rinadia
Information regarding life within Rineidiiyudo is considered to be murky, as constant internal conflict may have destroyed any records of daily life and the ship's origins, and extreme ideological differences make any existing records potentially inaccurate and biased. It is known, however, that internal conflicts may have been fueled by the cramped conditions, growing population, and dwindling resources. Material analysis of the ship suggests that Rineidiiyudo originates from the heart of the Milky Way galaxy.
Post-Arrival Rinadia
Upon Rineidiiyudo's arrival at Trappist-1's Oort cloud in /86vozho/123voko/119vogo/135bovo/139bobo/, internal conflict briefly subsided as the crisis concerning dwindling food and space worsened. Paishekiineu Sepaked came into power via election in /57vozho/65voko/40vogo/137bovo/139bobo/. rineis undertook a massive effort to construct the Beukore in /91vozho/0voko/21vogo/138bovo/139bobo/ to address growing concerns with living space and food production. Shortly after construction of the Beukore was completed in /110vozho/62voko/34vogo/138bovo/139bobo/, Paishekiineu was promptly assassinated and replaced with the famously illiterate Neixo Teshinaikii. Neixo's coming into power combined with the murder of Paishekiineu fueled ideological differences between citizens and sparked a short period of political turmoil.
In /9vozho/62voko/91vogo/138bovo/139bobo/, an energy crisis emerged as a result of the Beukore's location, growing energy demands, and economic stagnation. Eventually revolutionary groups began to form and plans to rid Rinadia of Neixo's reign would form behind closed doors. Nearly all attempts to assassinate Neixo had failed, with entire factions either being caught and executed or disbanded. One faction known as Nodivokiinozeudo, however, would successfully assassinate Neixo by convincing the late leader that he could fly in /81vozho/33voko/44vogo/138bovo/139bobo/. After his death, the leader of the rebel group would swiftly take power and reform the group into the Rei'otiidaiyumenai. Public opinion of the newly formed political party would skyrocket after nuclearizing the Rinadian power grid. The party would then go on to form the Rinadian Department of Genetics and Reproduction in /99vozho/103voko/96vogo/138bovo/139bobo/ to mass-produce workers via growth vats. These workers, or saseks, were fifty percent stronger and more agile than pre-RDRG rineis at the cost of independent thought and reasoning.
Nozeu Period
In /38vozho/62voko/101vogo/138bovo/139bobo/, Daiyumenai Lakeinu's Sekapnozeuxu Plan officially took effect, which meant to strengthen the Rinadian military-industrial complex to be all-encompassing in an effort to achieve galactic domination. Daiyumenai ordered the systematic culling of those considered genetically inferior or a threat to the party in an event known as the 'Atsinakeshapaidzedo. Many of those who were affected were born before the founding of the Rinadian Department of Genetics and Reproduction. This purge resulted in the genetic and ideological homogenization of Rinadian society. The RDGR began producing giidamas to work as secret police and zhuvines to keep party members loyal to Daiyumenai Lakeinu in /103vozho/74voko/101vogo/138bovo/139bobo. Due to rampant corruption within the Daiyumenai Party and blatant disregard for lower-class rineis, mistakes were somewhat common during the development phase of sasek rineis. Some were either too inept but were forced to work despite their handicap, or were intelligent enough to think independently. Many of those who would slip under the radar of Giidamas would come together in small derelict zones within the Beukore to form small, inconsequential rebel groups too small and disorganized to have any effect whatsoever. These rebel groups were not considered enough of a threat to the party and were deemed a waste of time and resources to manage.
As corruption continued to ravage the Rinadian government, arms production began to stagnate due to cut corners and the ongoing disregard for Saseks’ wellbeing. In response, Daiyumenai launched Project Maiyenishiizei in /36vozho/60voko/103vogo/138bovo/139bobo/, which foresaw experimentation with rinei genomes belonging different societal strata in an effort to boost economic efficiency and lower the cost of upkeep and production within the RDGR. The projected was widely considered a failure, only producing only a giidama and a zhuvine. Both products of the experiment boasted higher cognitive functioning and reasoning than their simpler, counterparts, and each with their own skills and abilities. They were named Risharii and Tekedu respectively and given their own ranks within the party.
