Brief Early History

Early history around 2600-1150 BC

Not much is known with the early history of the nation. Although the region was dominated by Palaeolithic peoples
for a long time there would eventually be waves of early Greek settlers arriving in the area leading to there being
2 major civilizations. Although they weren't around at the same time but were in existence of each other of
roughly 300 years or so.
The major cities of the time were:

    Knossos
    Mycenae
    Malia
    Kydonia
    Pyrgos
    Pylos

The Age of City States 6th-5th century BC

Also known as the Classical Era around this time. This was when the people lived in city-states in which the more
powerful of them ruled over many others. Around this time is when many of the peoples greatest inventions and
its cultural identity comes from such as philosophy, drama, poetry, music, art and social matters including
Democracy. This time period was when many colonies where established as the people were a sea borne one and
had well built ships and created major shipping routes.
The major cities of this time were:

    Athens
    Thebes
    Sparta
    Corinth
    Byzantium
    Syracuse
    Thessaloniki
    Tarentum
    Masala
    Rhodes
    Delphi
    Nemea
    Neapolis
    Pergamum

Macedonian other Early Empires 4th century BC to 168BC

After the Macedonian conquests of the region would unite the area for the fist time in history and it would remain
under Macedonian rule for only a short time of history. Despite that it did help unify the people and their culture and
help their people and culture spread beyond their territorial region. After the Macedonian Empire fell and crumbled a
migration of people entered the region with Illyrians settling in the northwest, the Dacians in the North who drove
Some of the Macedonian communities and people further south and the Thracians settling beyond their home region
in the northeast towards both the northern and eastern areas of the region.
The Thracians ended up being the people who dominated the region shortly after the demise of the Macedonians
reigning over most of the region but lost some of their territorial gains after some tribes of Gaul migrated past the
region. The Region was left with a small kingdom in the northeast with an Illyrian upper-class and Greek majority
lower-class and a Thracian led empire that had a predominant upper-class and a mostly Greek lower-class with
Macedonian and Dracian minorities.
Other then the major cities already listed above some new major cities were:

    Dodona
    Horreum
    Pella
    Larissa
    Heraklea
    Adrianoupolis
    Apollonia
    Phyrgos
    Odessos
    Therme

Latin Tribes/Empire period 168BC to 13AD

Both Empires would fall to the Latin people after a war in-between the two empires and the internal uprisings in
both nations led to venerable and weak to outside invasion. The region was split into or became part of four
different provinces of a much larger empire. It was during this time when improvements in infrastructure and
farming boosted the region greatly resulting in the posterity of the region.
After the Great Illyrian Revolt of 6AD to 9AD many Illyrian people fled into the region in which helped spark
the Great Thracian and Greek Revolt of 10 AD to 13AD which left the region somewhat devastated and
depopulated but independent. The country of Thacian Greece was formed and caused people of
both major ethnicities (Mostly Greek and Thracian) to migrate to the Country on mass. Thacian Greece
had engulfed the former 2 kingdoms from before the Latin peoples.
The newly founded country had a monarchy, restored the state religion to Greek Hellenic paganism and 2 national
ethnicities with Greek being the greater majority of people.

Early Medieval History/ Migration Era 13AD to 5th century AD

The Empire slowly rebuilt from the revolution but eventually reached a new little Golden Age. Eventually and
colonies abroad started appearing while building new towns and cities being built restoring the classical era culture.
Eventually when the crises of the 5th century occurred Thacian Greece had a migration of first
the Thracians, Dracians and Illyrians migrating early on it would be later be the Ostrogoths, Vandals and Bulgars.
