I'd like to remind everyone anime wouldn't exist without Jesus, here's how. Jesus is responsible for Christianity. Rome spread Christianity whilst weakening its social structure. Mohammed learns of the religion likely from Rome and adapts it, creating a unified Arab people.

A weakened Rome couldn't decisively beat the Persians in a war, weakening both. The Arabs used this moment to take all of Rome's middle eastern empire excluding Anatolia and all of Persia. Thus the caliphate would form. A younger brother would displace his older brother in the caliphate via Turkish mercenaries cementing the Turks in Anatolia.

Eventually the Ottomans would rise out of Anatolia. They'd be kept stagnant by Islam's influence over the Sultan causing weakness and instability in the Balkans. After the Ottomans were removed from the Balkans Serbia would aspire to unite the serbs across the Balkans.
