Mostly just the cover, and maybe some illustrations here and there, don't think I'll need a map for this one

Interesting, if you let me know what kind of cover/illustrations you are looking for I might be able to help if at least to recommend some illustrators (I know someone whose a wizard with a fineliner), they are tricky things though, i’ve made three books and what a faff printing was.

Dizgovzy wrote:Unfortunate update: this will not be happening. My friend who I was going to go with was doing research on the tickets and apparently buying tickets in Turkey basically means you have to go through scalpers or buy them at the start of the season before the scalper "companies" buy them all up. Ragh.

I don't exactly know how it works for foreigners but you're supposed to be able to sign up for a Passolig card for like, 40 liras (which is the only way to get tickets for the games in the first place). They're supposed to ship a physical card to you in 30 days but you can just download the app for it, and get to the ticket office in the stadium before the game, show them your card on the app and the ticket, and then get inside. For Turks, it asks for ID number, and I assume it'd ask for passport number for foreigners. This is at least what it said on their info page the last time I read it, never tried going to the ticket office without a physical card before.

Ottterland wrote:Also, a life update:
  • I passed this semester in school (almost flunked, but here we are; can't believe I almost failed English), 3 down, 3 to go!

  • I'm writing a novel (it's titled "Lost Cause", and let's say, it gets quite personal, the story happened to me)
(on that note, i need someone to do some sketches for the book, if you're interested, hit me up!)

  • I had the will to get a job, but apparently there aren't any that need someone in my age group, so i guess I'll just focus on my other plans.

  • I finally have a passport (for 3 years), and my US visa renewal is pending, so i am very much prepared to leave the country once I finish High school (of course there is the small detail of payment and financing, minor technicalities)

Congrats!! That sounds fun!

Welp, it’s been fun Nardin, but a tactical elf hit squad is currently en route to your location. Can’t have you spreading state secrets like this…
