Just wanted to post some interesting stats from our Discord. These stats come from 2021 and I'm going to compare them to the results of the same query in 2024. Each line names a channel and the number tells you how many messages were sent in that channel. This query is missing many new channels and contains several defunct ones as well.

These stats are even more impressive when you consider the channel that used to be peoples_committee is the welcome channel. Yet, in this query, peoples_committee had almost 1 million messages. To this day there are over 300k messages in welcome and well over a million in peoples_committee. This is just a crazy statistic and goal that I never thought probable or possible. It's especially crazy now that USSD is heading into its 9th year of existence. I'd also like to thank our Supreme Commissar KuroKhava as they celebrate over 1000 days of continuous service to our proud community. Everyone please give your congratulations to them for this glorious achievement.

Unfortunately, many of us are too busy with work to celebrate the proper way. We should be using the day to smash the business class. I myself live in Canada where Labour Day was moved to September to detract from the labour movement. However, today lives on in the hearts of the workers as the true Labour Day.
