The Nafhaea wrote:700,000 people have come out onto the streets of Smigstadt and Komcombar alone; Smigland's two biggest cities, to protest the oppression of the Ered people in Ereditarian to the hands of Citadan occupying forces. The Citadan inner party demands the Thunderhead send police on to the street but after a lengthly argument the Thunderhead wins the right to remain out of it as there is no legal binding to crushing a protest. In fact, under the laws of the Nafhaean Federal Republic (of which the Thunderhead obeys), public protest is considered essential. Thus it secretly organises more coordinated protests by telling dissidents when others are going to go out and protest.
The Citadan inner party instead deploys hastily prepared army troops, which use tear gas against the protesters and fire rifles above their heads. The Thunderhead brings charges of war crimes against all the soldiers involved as they are military personnel attacking civilians, but nobody is there to force them to court and the Citadan government does not recognise the charges. Nonetheless, many soldiers protest because they were forced to do it, and the Thunderhead refuses to speak to them for their actions.

Diplomats from LoboHobo try to soothen the people, simply saying that Eredictaion was originally in an oppressive dictatorship me now the true Sultan of Eredictarion is now fighting for true liberation of Eredictarion. As LoboHobo usually would attack the Citadel in this case, they seem sort of friendly. Calcifer is changing his stance, appearing to be a kiss up for every side involved in this.
